It seems a little outdated, and could use some reburishment. The bathroom toile, was off its hinges and coming out of the floor, there was no wine opener, wine glasses or any kind of opener.

We came back to the Divi Flamingo after a trip their last year as we had a great time , the snorkeling/diving is second to none. The food is great as is having a room with a kitchenette and a grocery store there right accrosse the street. The climate and water temps are sencond to none again like the snorkeling and we always meet many people and have never found anyone that is unfriendly and unwilling to socialize with. We also always book a trip with the crew from the Woodwind snorkel who dock and opperate right out of the Divi harbor and they are second to none. Great trip , location and place to relax and clear the mind.

The Location. We had to leave 3 days earlier and the refunded us for those days! We were very grateful. The large ice machines! The Saturday night barbecue.Our room was large with every comfort we needed. The mosquitos!! We think more can be done to minimize the problem. Repellents in the rooms, passages, reception and the restaurants, would help.

Great location, clean, good value. Staff didn't seem to care too much, and getting them to answer simple requests was a challenge. However, e-mail to manager before arrival saying it was my birthday did result in a bottle of cava and chocolates in the room which was great!

het personeel was uitstekend het hotel is zeer verouderd en op de website worden de kamers ruim voorgesteld in werkelijkheid zijn de kamers heel klein ik vind dit misleiding achteraf krijg ik een rekening van 7.50 dollar per dag voor electra dit staat vooraf nergens vermeld al met al was dit geen prettige ervaring de oude en te kleine kamers en een oude airco en een oude koelkast die constant lawaai maken

Fantastic snorkelling right outside your room. Wasn't too impressed with the maid who slopped all the dirty water from the balcony above straight onto our drying clothes below and then shrugged when told and carried on.

What strikes when arriving is the somewhat strange combination of colors including bright pink, but when longer on the island, it becomes a common feature on the island. The location is great, nice snorkling just in front of the resort. The rooms are a bit old and some things may be a bit worn or aged, but it is clean and maintenance and housekeeping staff do their best. The ocean view rooms are directly at the water. There are many facilities like pools, restaurants and bars, activity center, casino, diving school, gym, and others. WiFi was provided for free at lobby but quality was quite bad initially. During this stay, all of a sudden the connection got blocked (not, like many other times, interrupted!), because they had decided that day to change to paid WiFi. Only after inquiring about this, they told me that I could use a different unsecured network temporarily. Also, price is a bit high for this resort.

I didn't stay long enough to use the facilities but from I have seen it would be relaxing break. I paid cash for the room rental and the hotel still charged my credit card. This is being queried at this time.

The Divi Flamingo Dive Shop was excellent - its staff, the layout, and the facilities! Serge, Alvin and their team do a fabulous job! Our first meal at the resort was on a Saturday - at their "live entertainment" buffet dinner. This was a big disappointment though, as it consisted of a guy with a music box, and the food was overcooked and not very appetizing. Give that one a miss! As regards our room, it was very musty when we arrived - but a quick trip to a local grocery store for some room fresheners solved that problem.
