The room I reserved way ahead was not available when we arrived , I was not pleased with how they handled the situation . Tons of construction everywhere.

- house keeping could be a little better - no elevators - no room for changing clothes when check out at 11 and you have a late flight.

The beach club was quiet nice to hang around during the day or evening.
Our appartement was just at the entrance driveway opposite to the parking lot and dive center WannaDive. We could hear the compressor from early morning until late and the "pling pling" from the tanks when they wore picked up, returned or filled up. from the ABC Bonaire supposes to be most quiet of the islands but for us it was unfortunately the opposite.
That the pool closed just as it was getting cool enought to go out 6pm:(
Extremely good location and nice sea view from all rooms with a balcony. Located close to the divingshop. Good parking facilities. Nice restaurant located 5 meters from the sea.
A bit noise from renovating the place, but not a major problem. The rooms a bit worn, but again, not a major issue.

Attention to detail. I waited all afternoon for a coffee pot and never did received pillows which I requested because we had two pillows on a king size bed and I needed an extra one to prop up at night so I could breathe properly (I had bronchitis). When we checked out I mentioned I had not received the pillows and the staff was unconcerned.

On day of arrival the room wasn't ready at check-inn, after check-inn we found the floor still full of sand and on the second day our room did not get cleaned until 5 PM
Front Desk manager has a very bad attitude, its obvious that she discriminate. Something very remarkable was that the front desk employee was scared of her. When we arrived there was a misunderstanding about our room booking, besides that we asked for early check in on witch we got confirmation trough email that it was okay. When arriving the front desk employee did not know about that, she agreed to check us in anyways but by saying lets go fast before the manager comes in because she is very stern. Is that suppose to be our problem? I thought we were guests and that guests should not be involved in the in house issues, whether the manager is stern or not. When the front desk employee lead us to our room it was not what we expected, we asked for double bed and it was not arranged, the air conditioning was not working properly, when we went back to the front desk for possible solutions to our issues the front desk manager said that they will sent the housekeeping to separate the two beds and sent maintenance to service the air conditioning. Suposing that we should wait outside the room for them to fix their problems with the air conditioning and the beds, We lost about 1hour and 30 min just trying to get help for our issues. When we telling her that we were not satisfied with our room, her answer was; but it was your own fault you where the ones that pushed the bottom and reserved that room. I don't think you are suppose to talk to a guest like that whether they self pushed the bottom or not. I used to work in a 5 star hotel myself and if an employee dare to talk like that to a guest they were fired immediately you are not suppose to argue with a guest you are suppose to give the best service possible and make sure that your guests are satisfied with the service. There is something very wrong about that front desk manager, I think your people concerning the management team need to take a closes look to that.

did not like is an understatement, the room was disgusting, the walls of the room were never cleaned, when I reported this, the staff was unwilling to change me to an other room, she said, all the rooms are the same. I woke up with a very bad allergy, I am sorry I did not pack my bags and looked for an other hotel. there were no extra's in the room, no drinking glasses, no ice bucket, no soap, no phone.
This hotel has a small private beach with nice beach beds. I could just sit there and watch the waves for hours! Bar and a nice restaurant on the beach. Had dinner once and was surprised by how good it was. Rooms were basic but really comfortable and clean. There's a diving school at the sites. I would definitely stay here again.
Clean and comfortabel rooms. Staff was helpfull when room did not have Wifi. Perfect location when u have a car or scooter. Good snorkling and boattaxi to klein bonaire in front of hotel. Everyday clean towels and cleaning of the room
Everything was OK It really was clean I did really enjoy
The apartment was dark with very bright lightbulbs. No cosyness. Cleaningservice poor and forgotten one day. "Fully equipped" kitchen didn't have a waterboiler or coffee maker, rusted and old fridge. Second bedroom was to small to close the door because of the beds. Never again!
Hotel is in a great location. Bar and many lounge chairs right on the water. Good food in restaurant. Kept the place very clean. Super convenient access to dive gear, storage and tanks.
Our "terrace" was a patio right off the entrance road. Was nice to have the outdoor space to hang out but wasn't quite what we expected.

A lot of noise in the morning. The location of the dive center is close the rooms. Early in the morning, sometimes at 7.30 hours, you could hear the tanks. Also the workers started early in the morning. The bed was made daily, however the rooms were not cleaned properly. There was sand on the floor and the hairs were not removed from the sink.
The location on a little beach is very good. Restaurant staff were really friendy and quick. Reception staff also tried to accomodate us.
If you are unlucky (like we were) you get one of the rooms in the back, with rather tiny windows and view on a wall. Also the wooden fixture in our bathroom was mouldy, so the room smelled accordingly. When we mentioned it, they just tried to wipe it off. Also bathroom door frequently fell out of its hinges and when they "fixed" it, it lasted three openings. Also no wifi in the rooms on the backside. They did change us to a better room, when we told them that their "fixing" it, had not made it better. So that was ok. However, what made us really upset is that upon checkout they REFUSED to give us a bill showing the amount we paid. They said this is booking.com policy, which I do not really believe. In addition to the amount that you see on your booking.com form, you pay an additional energy surcharge and guest tax per day. In our case that was almost 100$ extra for the stay. When I asked for a receipt for the full amount that also shows these costs, they flat out refused. Instead they scribbled the total amount in hand writing on the printout of booking.com I don't know if this is hotel policy or booking.com policy, but I find it fishy and unacceptable. If I pay something it should never be a problem to get a receipt for it (that also shows guest tax and energy surcharge). This has never been a problem in any hotel I stayed in so far. If they do not want to detail the room price per night but just give the total of the room because of some arrangement they have with booking.com, ok. But refusing to give us any proof that we paid the almost 100USD for guest tax and energy surcharge is bizarre. Makes one wonder if they actually pay the guest tax then.
There was no refigerater in the room
The receptionist (I think Mireya) helped us really good when we arrived and also the other lady when we checked out. So that i can say was really good. Also at the restaurant was a local lady that helped us nicely.
The room didn't had much, i would at least expected a phone in the room. No room services, and the fact that there was no lift.
Very comfortable and spacious accomodation. Perfect service, especially during check-in and in the restaurant.
The litter bins were still filled with litter from previous guest(s).

Did not like the fact that I had to travel from curaçao and wait an hour and ten minutes for my room to be available. I got to Bonaire in the morning and had to wait untill 2:10pm for my room to be ready. Also I went to town and on my return there were two men who looked like workmen comming out of my room. The furniture on the verandah was turned upside down and no one informed me that there were going to be work men comming to my room.
The view. The quietness (except for the 2 unannounced night parties on the swimming pool). The diving center just below. The easy access to the beach and to the sea. Most of the staff helpful and nice.
Room looked old and had lots of damaged things: no towel hangers (only the rusty metal hooks remained on the walls), one of the deck chairs on the balcony was broken, room door didn't close tight enough: had a large space on the side and underneath letting mosquitoes in during the night. Also there were two unannounced night parties on the swimming pool with loud noise that could be heard on the next hotel! Both ended at 10 p.m. but none of the staff were able to tell us when it would be over, although we asked at the front desk and at the reception... Never had our towels changed properly in 9 days! Most of the times took both our towels and left only one or none at all. Hot water in the shower wasn't enough for two showers. Got cold very quickly. Also not enough pressure on the shower, specially at peak hours (room on 3rd floor). No elevator so we had to carry our heavy bags with diving equipment all the way up, on arrival.
