The staff was friendly and the location was nice.
After leaving the airport, I called to see if we could check in early and the front desk said we would not be able to check in early but the room would be ready at 1. No problem, since that is the regular check in time. We arrived at 12:45 and had some questions about the spa appointments I had booked via email. I had a few questions I wanted answered about the appointments before choosing my package and they had not responded to some of my emails and just booked one of the packages I had inquired about before I made a decision. I thought I could inquire again before check in. I was informed the spa is not on site, but a ten minute walk down the road. We walked down to the spa and when we asked about our appointments he could not answer our questions (which tapas items were included in the Prosecco package and a couple details about the pedicure). He said the hotel sdoes that part and we can have the massage at the gym or back at the resort. We get back to the resort and our room was not ready until 2. They did buy us a drink in the bar while waiting. When we got up to our room, right away we noticed the walls (especially above the bed) were very dirty and the window was cracked. We went down and told the front desk. After looking at the room they informed us they did not have any other rooms and they could have someone paint or clean it. We offered to pay for an upgrade but they were fully booked. Having the room painted would have been inconvenient so we opted for it to be cleaned. When we came back the room was not any cleaner but they did leave us a bottle of wine. I went to use the restroom and the bathroom door was completely broken. The front desk was busy so the next morning I told them about the door. By that point I had also discovered we didn't have any hot water. We were told it would be fixed right away. That afternoon the repairs still had not been done and we went back. They said they would send someone up.
Staff was very friendly, happy hour and great music in the weekends.
Bed was nice and comfy and big, location was great.
Cruise ships people taking up all sun beds. Restaurant staff very forgetful. Restaurant menu was like a sampler menu once you had it there was no need to go again.
The beach and the beach/water services were great. Also the restaurant had excellent food and a wonderful ambiance.
We had booked a king suite w/ocean view. Because of overbooking we had to spend the first 2 nights in a main floor room. It was awful. The view was of the parking lot/scuba tank area. Very noisy. Also the cleanliness of the room was sketchy. Once we moved upstairs it was like a different world.
Snorkeling off the dock was fabulous and the pool was nice. The view was also great. The kitchen was adequate and we used it quite a bit
The room was run down with exposed wiring, air conditioner remote with illegible display and the furniture was stained. The housekeeping staff was inconsistent. --- some days we got clean towels and the garbage was emptied --- and some days not.

Staff, lack of cleanliness
location, cleanliness, access, decent food. Good value but not a good receipt system and the internet was SUPER SLOW! Snorkeling and diving was great! You're not there for the internet, but keep your receipts.
They couldn't get their food bill straight with us and tried to charge us for extraneous and repeat billings which was annoying at the least. Also, the internet sucked due to their interface. It works but takes a long long time. Beds were hard but room was clean and staff was friendly. I'd stay there again because value was good, but keep your receipts and expect the internet to be SLOW!

People were friendly, lovely wildlife while snorkelling in front of the hotel. Room was clean.
Room flooded when it rained, smoke detector was missing the battery, no phone or minibar in the room (no early wakeup call). Beach towel service is spotty. Early morning construction work.

The room I reserved way ahead was not available when we arrived , I was not pleased with how they handled the situation . Tons of construction everywhere.

The beach club was quiet nice to hang around during the day or evening.
Our appartement was just at the entrance driveway opposite to the parking lot and dive center WannaDive. We could hear the compressor from early morning until late and the "pling pling" from the tanks when they wore picked up, returned or filled up. from the ABC Bonaire supposes to be most quiet of the islands but for us it was unfortunately the opposite.
That the pool closed just as it was getting cool enought to go out 6pm:(

A bit noise from renovating the place, but not a major problem. The rooms a bit worn, but again, not a major issue.

Attention to detail. I waited all afternoon for a coffee pot and never did received pillows which I requested because we had two pillows on a king size bed and I needed an extra one to prop up at night so I could breathe properly (I had bronchitis). When we checked out I mentioned I had not received the pillows and the staff was unconcerned.

Front Desk manager has a very bad attitude, its obvious that she discriminate. Something very remarkable was that the front desk employee was scared of her. When we arrived there was a misunderstanding about our room booking, besides that we asked for early check in on witch we got confirmation trough email that it was okay. When arriving the front desk employee did not know about that, she agreed to check us in anyways but by saying lets go fast before the manager comes in because she is very stern. Is that suppose to be our problem? I thought we were guests and that guests should not be involved in the in house issues, whether the manager is stern or not. When the front desk employee lead us to our room it was not what we expected, we asked for double bed and it was not arranged, the air conditioning was not working properly, when we went back to the front desk for possible solutions to our issues the front desk manager said that they will sent the housekeeping to separate the two beds and sent maintenance to service the air conditioning. Suposing that we should wait outside the room for them to fix their problems with the air conditioning and the beds, We lost about 1hour and 30 min just trying to get help for our issues. When we telling her that we were not satisfied with our room, her answer was; but it was your own fault you where the ones that pushed the bottom and reserved that room. I don't think you are suppose to talk to a guest like that whether they self pushed the bottom or not. I used to work in a 5 star hotel myself and if an employee dare to talk like that to a guest they were fired immediately you are not suppose to argue with a guest you are suppose to give the best service possible and make sure that your guests are satisfied with the service. There is something very wrong about that front desk manager, I think your people concerning the management team need to take a closes look to that.

did not like is an understatement, the room was disgusting, the walls of the room were never cleaned, when I reported this, the staff was unwilling to change me to an other room, she said, all the rooms are the same. I woke up with a very bad allergy, I am sorry I did not pack my bags and looked for an other hotel. there were no extra's in the room, no drinking glasses, no ice bucket, no soap, no phone.
This hotel has a small private beach with nice beach beds. I could just sit there and watch the waves for hours! Bar and a nice restaurant on the beach. Had dinner once and was surprised by how good it was. Rooms were basic but really comfortable and clean. There's a diving school at the sites. I would definitely stay here again.
