Alpha Hostel - Rio de Janeiro

The location is very good, near the Botafogo beach, big shopping center and metro station, in the quite safe area. You can walking to Sugar Head and Copacabana beach in 20 minutes. They have transfer to airport for good price.

One of the rooms don't have a window and there is extremely hot. Hostel don't have a place to guard your baggage after chek-out.

Great location too get around Rio, staff in the day time very friendly and spoke English.

No air con in dorm rooms. And can not stay in lobby/communial area past 11pm as there are rooms close by

Price and location, bathroom inside the room - shared only with the guests of that room. Breakfast was included.

Size of room, two small for two bunk beds. And my room was between the reception and a corridor where people hangout: very noisy.

Vi las fotos y reserve porque encontré que era un lugar bonito y limpio. Cuando llego me encuentro con un lugar muy muy sucio, de mal olor y sin un closet donde guardar mis cosas. decidí quedarme con una habitación privada con dos camas y el cual me cobraron 8 veces mas de el valor cobrado en la habitación con varias camas, y con colchón que tocaba las tablas quebradas de la cama, al final me quede solo dos días ya que el lugar, es oscuro, el comedor esta en la entrada a la calle y sin algún cierre, el cual la gente que pasa por la calle ve como uno come, baños asquerosos, desayuno pobre y lleno de mosquitos en los alimentos, la atención no es de la mejor. No entiendo como turistas de gringolandia pueden conformarse con el servicio, esta bien cancelar poco dinero por una habitación, pero eso no quiere decir que el turista tenga que aguantar toda la suciedad. Gostei das pessoas que estavam lá hospedadas e os funionários nos auxiliaram muito bem naquilo que precisamos.
