The journey to the hotel begins with a boat ride across the waters, where the Negro and Solimões Rivers meet, followed by a scenic bus trip via the famous Transamazônica Road. The Amazon Tupana Lodge offers charming and rustic accommodation that has been carefully planned to preserve the surrounding environment. Rooms feature a balcony with a view, a ceiling fan and a private bathroom. Every morning a buffet breakfast is served, which offers a selection of fresh fruits, breads and cold meats. The on-site restaurant also offers a range of local and international specialties for lunch and dinner. The jungle lodge is located 178 km south of Manaus and 204 km from the Manaus city centre. Fantastic nature, silence, animals, remote location, only few ppl, good guides at some point too many children around which brings noise and enjoying nature and silence gets spoiled

The location is great for swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. The river view is great. Fishing for Piranha was great, we caught 15 fish and ate 4 for dinner, they tasted very good. The area is very peaceful and quiet. Do not go here if you want to see Caiman, Amazon dolphins, birds, or animal life. None are available at this resort. The daily food is re-cycled for a week and the quality is poor. Cold water showers are OK, but Solar heated water would be great. The rooms are clean but have very large cock roaches so keep your luggage zipped tightly closed when you are not in the room as the roaches will crawl into your bags. The resort requires a very long drive (almost 2 hours) over badly maintained roads. The price was too high for the very limited resources available at this lodge.
