Location, free internet in room. Good breakfast. Rooms need renos. Bathroom very poor. Noise transference between rooms excessive. Room rather bare. Since water is undrinkable out of tap, at least 2 bottles of bottled water should have been provided free. |

Modest facility, but excellent value for area. Breakfast was more than adequate, and served 7-11! I had some trepidation based on other reviews re staff, etc. Glad to report I was totally comfortable, didn't encounter one single unpleasant staff person, and would recommend. Wish they had wireless in room--had to go to lobby. But it worked fine and is free. The restaurant is pretty poor, except for breakfast (included). In fact I don't think anyone ever eats there. OK for a beer though. |

The location was excellent, right between Ipanema and Copacabana Beaches. The area had plenty of restaurants, was walking distance to the beaches and seemed relatively safe at night. The Hotel was clean and breakfast was included. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate size and had a great sea view. No dislikes. |

Great location! Very clean, everyone was very nice. Could have used more options for a full or 1/2 day sightseeing trip. I can't imagine the 4 places we visited in all Rio had to offer. |

Great location You can hear almost everything from the next room through a bathroom. Air conditioner keeps making a funny noise even when it is not on. Front desk staff seem unfriendly to foreign guests. |

It's a good place to stay, staff very friendly and helpful, and the place was very well located between the two main beaches (Ipanema and Copacabana) and the main bus lines.The breakfast was very good considering that it´s included. I think that the relation between cost and quality is not adecuated, in all my trip was the most expensive hotel and by far not the best. I ignore the cost of other hotels in the zone but i really think they could do better with the cost of the rooms. |

Excellent location between Ipanema and Arpoador and just a few blocks from Copacabana. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Not expensive for this area. |

Great location close to Copacobana and Ipanema. Thought the staff were very nice and the rooms were clean. In the process of getting a second lift so there was a bit of a wait to the top. |

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The shower was clogged and they did not fix it, the staff was extremely mean, they were repairing the elevators, so everybody has to wait for the cargo elevator and it took about 10 minutes to go up to the 9 floor where my room was. To finish up, now that I'm reviewing my credit card statement, they charged me twice! I wouldn't recommend anybody to stay there |

If you are looking for only a room with a clean bed... this is the place. Not much else. Our room was next to the elevator and it kept cycling on the 7th floor every 30 seconds all night long. Hardware in bathroom (door handles and stuff) were loose and dirty. |

The location is great. It's within short walking distance of Ipanema and Copacabana. Breakfast is well served, with abundant, fresh choices. It's a great way to start the day and it saves lots of money and time. The water at the pool was not heated. Sometimes, the hotel can be loud, because they're working to improve it (installing a new elevator, for example). If you plan to stay in your room during the day, it might be noisy. It didn't affect me, though, as I spent most of the day away. |
