The common area is really nice. Breakfast was ok.
The location is really bad and the area is unsafe at night. No restaurants or anything around. Got another room as I booked and the staff got angry when I complained. They don't have enought bathrooms, so after waiting for more then one hour I finally decided not to shower.. They charge you a lot for a really small and crowded dorm. Would not recommend to go there!
Very friendly staff, very nice place, near the city center. If we come again, we'll stop in this hotel.
The staff were informative, helpful, and friendly. The pool and air conditioning were a nice touch.
I booked a personal room so I was expecting my own bathroom, but it was shared. So other than that minor surprise, I had a great stay.
Very nice family-run hostel. Comfortable beds and great breakfast.
Just the fact that the did a mistake with my reservation and instead of sleeping in a private room as i had booked i, slept in the dorm.
The family ir really amazing. They really care about people
Breakfast was OK, Internet worked though only in the hall. The pool was all right, though dirty some days.
The comfort is low, the beds are small and hard. There are no lockers. The door to bathroom could not be closed from outside. Generally it's a quite worn down hostel. The worst part is their shuttle service. My transfer from the airport was confirmed, but no shuttle came - "because the driver could not wait for the plane" as they said in the hostel. My shuttle to the airport was confirmed, though not free, but it also never showed up - "because they could not arrange it" . I ended up paying more for the taxi than for my stay in this place . So, don't be confused by their low price, you might end paying much more than you think. The tours promoted by the hostel were about the same, maybe because they are run by the same shuttle company. I waited more than an extra hour with them just to start the Full Moon tour going to the Falls, and then these guys left half of the group there, "because they could not wait more, and some shuttle will pick them up later". Most information they gave to me about the city and tours was incomplete, and sometimes wrong.
The staff at Bamboo Guest House is very helpful to make your stay in Foz do Iguaçu a pleasant stay. They also organize tours to the Argentinian side which make it easier to save time while being not so long in town.
I liked Bambu Guest House a lot. The place is very nice and well maintained. It is owned by a family and all of them are VERY NICE. It is near the TTU bus terminal and very near the bus stop to the Parque Nacional do Iguacu/Airport.
Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
