Tastefully appointed lobby, elegant furnishings with a measure of opulence. Inviting atmosphere on arrival, hotel has a certain majestic charm about it. Staff polite, professional, not arrogant/pretentious, quite helpful recommending restaurants and nearby attractions. Particular compliments on Leonardo's service at reception, very high standard. Free WiFi, only working in lobby during our stay, slow-moderate speeds. Buffet breakfast, very extensive good quality selection. Heated pool with indoor/outdoor sections, very pleasant on cold, misty mornings. Decent gym for a hotel. Location is a little away from main street in Gramado, however we had a car and it was no issue.
Stayed in deluxe room. Comfortable, well appointed but not luxurious. Very quiet at night. Booked a triple room however received a double with an extra bed. Room was setup as double on our arrival at 3pm. Required repeated calls to reception until additional bed was set-up (not until 8pm). Sufficient but not generous amount of space. Room is excessively centrally heated (gas plus floor heating and outside temperatures only 12-15 Celsius). Well priced room, especially considering it was during the World Cup (booked 6 weeks in advance).
I would stay here again.
