Score from 413 reviews Very good
Very good breakfast, nice clean big room.
They double charged taxes. They speak little English. WiFi did not work in the room.
It is not 4 stars hotel according to me.
Swimming pool with the bar. Tourist agency in the lobby.
A little bit far from the airport and main tourist attractions. Rooms are very simple with rather old furnitures. Worth to be renovated.
what i really like about this hotel is the bellboy named Gustavo who speaks English really well. He acted as the interpreter of the front desk officer upon our checkin. he assisted us with our luggage going to our room and was really helpful. i believe he was even instrumental for us getting a free upgrade to a room with jacuzzi when we said that we were there to celebrate our honeymoon. this type of staff makes me want to come back to this hotel if i will be in town again. also the room with jacuzzi is fantastic. breakfast was also great.
the hotel front desk officer didn't even say hello or anything at all to us when we arrived. i understand that she was busy because there were a number of people checking in during that time, but this is a hospitality business. also, i believe she doesnt speak english thats why she had to seek the help of Gustavo as interpreter. Although our wifi was included in our hotel package, it was not free for everyone and was limited to one user only. wifi connection was difficult in some areas of the hotel. the location of the hotel is near th city center and the shopping mall but its far from the airport and iguazu falls park.
The Staff at the Hotel is excellent. The Internet is fast and reliable.
The rooms are bit outdated.
Location - near the Iguacu falls - was fantastic. The food was fine, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff at the front desk were friendly.
The room service was very slow - 1.5 hours. We were made a travel recommendation at the front desk which turned out to be untrue (they said bus to the falls was four hours - it was 40 minutes).
Breakfast was nice a combination of everything. Internet connection was good compare to the standard in the country.
We had internet but they tried to charge us first until we show that it was in our booking. It takes 10 Rial by taxi to city mall! and 20 min by walk which is OK if it is not raining like hell and night.
The afternoon shift was not so friendly. We got to the hotel about 3:45 PM, we asked some questions about falls and they did not tell us they close at 5 PM. We could of gone right away to falls, but instead left the hotel an hour and a half later and got to falls when they were close. The falls opens at 9 AM.
good spacious room. helpful staff. careful when booking throu booking.com - mixed room pictures.
1,5km (10 to 15R$) taxi ride to the closest facilities such as shopping center or bus terminal in order to be able to move around the city and highlights. rooms need maintainance. driping facet and shower. do not expect a four star hotel. double charged 3% "iss tax" over room fee.
Near to the hotel there aren't so many options for dinner or a drink. If you take a taxi it may cost about R$ 20 to go to the city center.
good hotel room and delicious breakfast with many options and variety of food (the best pao de quejo) good travel service (agency right at the hotel venue), but the didnt speak any english at the time we discussed the trip options. The trip we booked (Argentinian side of waterfalls) was organized very well.
- wifi was paid - hotel staff tried to charge the service (10%) for the whole price of accomodation (it was removed when we asked what does it concern) - location: it is on the highway from town, not very close to centre
- very loud music at the swimming pool until 22.00. It's impossible to sleep before that time. - Terrible WiFi. You have to log on every 5 minutes, which is extremely annoying. - The only person who speaks a little English is one cleaning lady! - Although we specifically asked for our room NOT to be cleaned someone went inside, made our beds (didn't clean anything else!) and STOLE our small change which was on the table. WE DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
NO free WiFi & safety deposit box. Dark corridors.
Clean pool with lots of life. Very close to the bus terminal, so easy to check in from bus tour. Food at buffet was good, especially the cheese bread poppers!
Wifi availability was spotty, and the hotel tries to charge you extra for it, until you show them that the booking.com description says free WiFi.
The hotel is very comfortable and they have a tour agency by the reception where you can book your trips to the Iguazu falls. If you are arriving at the long distance bus station, the hotel is 500m away. Nice enough swimming pool and overall a nice stay.
The room was a bit dirty when we arrived albeit they cleaned it as soon as we told them. The following days were fine. The hotel is about 4 kms from the local bus station where you can get the bus to the Iguazu falls. There aren´t restaurants nearby so we ordered room service dinner which was not that good. This is a place to stay for a couple of days if you are coming to visit the Falls and spend the day there, not more than that but good value for money.
Price was good
Hotel is old, swimming pool too shallow.
most of the staff were very helpfull
too big, familyhotel
Staff were very helpful and nice, even though we don't speak any Portuguese. Large room. Breakfast buffet was amazing! Different each day, I miss the hot dogs and the cheese balls! Laundry service which is a plus.
Nothing at all, except that you had to pay for wifi if needed.
The pool staff.
The wifi was bad. The tour lady was forgetful and pushy and not helpful.
