Internet is free only in the lobby. The price of the internet access in the rooms is abusive.
The hotel has a great location, and is near to a taxi point, a bus stop, a shopping center - where you can eat for cheaper -, and pretty much close to all famous places in Brasilia you might want to visit. From the airport, there's a executive bus that stops really close to the hotel, and it costs only R$ 8,00 (you can see the line details in here: http://www.tcb.df.gov.br/images/Linhas/linha%20113-todas.pdf). You just need to tell where you will stay, and when they close they will let you know where to get off. From the hotel to the airport, i took a taxi, and it was around 45 reais. The breakfast, included in the price of the hotel, is great. There's a lot of options, especially of juices. The room service is good. You can order to good sandwiches, that can be an alternative for dinner. The price listed on menu includes the room service fee, so if you want to save a bit, you can go downstairs and ask for it, as i was informed there. The staff is nice and helpful, they could inform me about distance of the places i needed to go. At last, the bed is really comfortable and soft (if you need a hard mattress, probably you won't really like), and you can have a good sleep with no disturbing sounds from outside or this sort of things.
Dinner (buffet) and lunch at the restaurant are expensive; around 60 reais the usual price. In the room, the paid channel TV was playing, sometimes it worked, sometimes not. Since my room was the standard one, to have wifi there, I had to pay for it, around 20 reais for 24 hours, and it only worked in one device, my cell phone. When i tried to connect my notebook to the wifi, i couldn't do it. Since i didn't really need it, i didn't bother, but before you pay the wifi fee, ask the staff about how to connect it in your computer in advance, and how many devices can you use with the same log in. At night, the location gets a bit dodgy. If you need to go anywhere, walk only next to the avenue and don't really go to the commercial district, there are chances of you getting robbed. Another thing: opposite of what is written on booking.com description, the hotel asks for payments when you check-in, not when you leave. And don't be surprised if the price is higher than what says your booking confirmation: they will charge more 5% of the total price and R$ 2,00 per day (tourism fee). Also, double check the bill when you leave (in my case, they made a mistake, and overcharged me).
The location was excellent. I was there for the World Cup and the stadium and all other important amenities was only a walking distance. The train station was also close and safe as well. Brasilia looks like a very clean city.
Having to pay for WIFI if you use it in your room. If you intend making use of the free facility than you will have to come down to the reception area. Sometimes it is crowded.
we were in Brasilia to watch the game Argentina vs Belgium. This hotel is located only 5 min to the stadium. Friendly Staff, good breakfast. Value for money? considering the world cup... it was alright.
Our room was plenty of space and confortable. However, we had to ask for a proper clean before we enter, I wonder if it was cleaned after previous guest left. The staff were very helpful and friendly that we forgot about that.
the bathroom glass dor was broken and the price of the room was very expensive
it was the least expensive hotel in the area, staff was helpful, breakfast was good
it is in Brasilia, very expensive even though it was less than other hotels
Unhelpful staff. No English speaking staff member the whole four days there. No maps provided. Wifi only free in the lobby but still was down most mornings.. And slow the rest of the time it was working. During breakfast they had a conference at the dining hall which blocked the whole area for regular hotel guests. Had to wait over an hour for breakfast. Many thanks to Mercure staff who was more helpful providing directions and maps even though we did not stay at that hotel.
Brasilia Imperial Hotel is conveniently located downtown in walking distance to Estadio Nacional, markets and shopping mall. Farooq is a very helpful staff member and appears to be the only person that speaks English. Consequently he had a full time job assisting with guest queries. Rooms are bright and spacious with good TV picture. Breakfast was extensive and plentiful, juices, fruit, cereal, bread, pastries eggs etc. etc. The restaurant bar was good for an evening meal.
My bathroom was dodgy as the drains were smelly and there was no shower door so that water ran out into the entrance hall. Other local dining options appeared to be the food court in the shopping mall. Room rates are expensive in Brasilia generally and more so due to World Cup finals.
Large, comfortable room, good location and good breakfast.
A bit overpriced but I think this is the norm for Brasilia.
Excellent location opposite big shopping mall, walking distance from Brasilia's parliament buildings and the football stadium. Breakfast was surprisingly good in my opinion. Free wifi in the dining room/lounge area. Pay for wifi in rooms.
Hotel is 'simple' - you get what you pay for with no thrills - no pool etc. Have to pay for wifi in rooms.
Location is walking distance from the stadium
Staff is horrible. When we arrived they told us the hotel is fully booked and gave us an unclean room with no bed sheets! They refused to change the room until we threatened to call the police. Manager next day apologized and offered us a free meal from the restaurant which was late as we were staying 2 nights only.
No free Wifi. Noise from the corridors could be heard into the room.
Breakfast Cama e chuveiro
Deskmen not english speakers Not free wi-fi No acustic preparation No floor or face towels
location was convenient. taxi available at doorstep Mall and food courts available opp to the hotel
Very less options for vegetarian food. staff do not speak English WIFI not available free in the room
The maids that clean the rooms are nice, friendly and beautiful. The hotel restaurant is nice as well. Also, it close to a small shopping mall.
The WiFi sucks. It's not free and even after you pay a lot for it, you are only allowed one device at a time. So you can't have you laptop and you phone on WiFi at the same time. This is the only hotel I know that limits you to one device. We booked a room for multiple people and couldn't all connect at the same time. Horrible!!!
Very welcoming and professional staff. The hotel is a five-minute walk to the stadium and very well located.
No free wifi connection in rooms. The free wifi is available in the lobby, but you have to renew your password every 3 hours. Also the fees for wifi in rooms are very expensive.
Location in the center of the city (actually the city was designed with these propouse...)
Free WiFi only at the looby and dependant of a password sometimes not available by the staff. The staff at the front desk sometimes is not that willing to help.
Please consider that we paid USD $250/night to stay here. No fan in the bathroom. Towels stained and look dirty. Beds are uncomfortable TVs are very difficult to figure out (specially since the battery on remote is dying) no shampoo or other toiletries provided Staff not very friendly
Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Room was clean.
No free Wifi in the room. Everytime I need I had to go down to the lobby and ask for pin number. Towels were clean washed, however, old, stiff, rough and stained.
I like the location very safe place close to the important places to visit people very friendly love brasilia. You can take the metro is safe and close
I didnt like to much the wifi in the hotel you can use it only in the lobby.
Looks and smells like a cheap motel
Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and nice & clean rooms. Overall, good value for money.
Free wifi only in the hotel lobby and you have to renew it with new password from staff every three hours.
The bedroom is large and the double bed is comfortable. The pillow and mattress are very soft. The breakfast is very good.
The gym room haven't ventilation and toilets, it is poor, but has a big TV. The bedroom TV is too small.
