- Constantly noisy work in other rooms; - Electrical Black-outs; - Elevator stops at Electrical Black-out; - In Restaurant workers with dirthy cloths doing their job; - Very limited menu chart as there is almost nothing to provide to customers; - Internet stops constantly; - Staff is extremely nice to customers as they know that there are major problems going on .. - ABSOLUTELY NO VALUE for money !!!
Comfortable hotel with good facilities, located at a nice beach.
Hotel was unable to provide me with price offer for taxi transfer from the airport. During world cup, room prices all over Rio were no longer reasonable. Services you get in comparison to prices asked were out of order.
Just the food
The customer service They givme a room next to construction noise they didn't clean my room the price so high
Friendly and helpful staff rooms were kept clean
great beach view and accessibility. Barra is good starting point to hop in and out Rio
world cup prices were ridiculous.
Friendly Staff Clean Good breakfast Nice Beach
Room is Pricey Not many neighborhood restaurant 1 km from Metro
Limited and old gym equipment.
The girls at reception were deligthful Nathalya went out if her way to be sure everything was ok ;)
location, too far from the centre of the city
If you want to get away from the tourist zones in Copa and Ipa, this is a great option.
Great beach across the street. The breakfast is awesome and the rooms nice and comfortable.
I booked a twin room and received a double room. Be careful, sea front might not have an actual view to the sea, which I found dishonest.
Staff was attentive, especially our housekeeper and those at the front desk. Beautiful location , but we were in for the World Cup and this hotel was too far out. The lobby interior was very cool.
The road we needed to cross was too dangerous for anyone handicapped. It had to be the COLDEST hotel we have ever stayed in. We froze each night, despite a staff person's attempt to activate the heat. We asked for extra blankets in both our rooms and all they provided were heavy, cotton covers.
The hotel was right beside the beach, increíble view. Bathroom was nice and lots of hot water.
To the point, the air conditioning was either full on or off, and the beds where really hard.
The rooms were great, with a nice view of the beach from the balcony. Staff are very helpful. Very clean and modern looking. Overall excellent!
The location of the hotel is great, with the beach across the road but I did want to spend time at the Copacabana beach and other areas of Rio which meant a bus or taxi journey to get there, 40 mins or so. It's a small thing but I think should be considered.
Friendly staff, great views and great food
One night, they had a menu with steaks listed. The next night, it disappeared. I ordered a steak stroganoff meal- but the waiter came back to say they were out of meat.
Location was excellent for my family, quiet.
It is the worst managed Hotel I stayed in for a long time although I am far travelled and lived a long time in Asia. Though very friendly, the staff is absolutely inexperienced. It takes up to one hour (!) to get a proper invoice, they charge your credit card without asking after you already have left. I stayed now a couple of times, mainly because it is close to the office and the hotel is very new and clean and right at the beach.
They were very pleasant, the view was great, breakfast the best.
to not be able to open the balcony door from the inside. the bed was very hard for my taste. didn't like the prostitutes hanging out in front of the hotel.
attitude of girl in reception. Large construction to the right side of the hotel with a lot of noise. When I asked to be removed the moved me to a smaller room. Then I asked to be movd to a room of same size that I have paid for. Then they moved me again. I ask my self, why did they not put me in that room at the first place. Why do they put a customer om the noisy side of the hotel, when the have Space on the quite side. Because the personal is bad !!
The room was clean, staff friendly, breakfast was good.
They charged my credit card before I got there, even though the card number was to hold booking. They charged me for an extra night even though I had an email confirming the change in number of days without any charge. It took me to the end of my stay to finally get a Manager to agree to refund my money for the extra night. I could have done without that hassle as it was stressful.
breakfast was complete, rooms were new and clean. frigo bar and room service too expensive.
could be cheaper
Nice rooms and nice views by the beach. Good breakfast. They allowed a 2pm check out.
There is a new hotel being built next door and the building noise woke us early in the morning. We had to ask to move to the other side of the hotel. It is a long ride to the airport on the dreadful Rio traffic jams.
