Very close to the beach, nice view from the room

Old fashioned equipped, Internet costs extra; elevators very old (one of two defect = long waiting time) room not really well cleaned

Location is only thing going for this old beat up in bad repair hotel. We went ahead and booked hotel even with some of the bad reviews... Knowing it would only be one night stay... And wanting to be close to the beach... What an adventure it turned out to be.

We had to switch rooms due to a horrible smell, that took 1 hour to fix - and we were down graded 3 floors to the smallest room with barely a water closet. Then the internet passcode would not let us log in, that took 35 min to fix. Went back to the room only to be locked out - the door lock was jammed and would not open. We waited over an hour in the lobby for the locksmith to let us into the room in 15 seconds. They would not provide any compensation for the inconveniences.This hotel is in need of desperate repairs and updating - I'm not talking about the prettiness - I'm talking about electric outlets/switches, plumbing, doorlocks, windows, moldy tile, the worse condition of all the hotels we stayed in on our 10 night trip to Brazil. Most definately only a 2 star establishment. :(

This hotel was hands down the worst hotel I've ever experienced. They should change the name to hoteis Favela Othon. The rooms and walls were mildew ridden, our beds were soaked with moisture every night. They did not warn us that there was a charge everytime we picked up our hotel phone even just for local calls! we were not able to stay in our room for the 2nd half of our trip, we were so sick from the mildew, moisture, and dirty AC, we had to make alternate accommodations! This hotel severed our health and made our trip to Rio De janeiro much more complicated than need be. Not to mention now that we are home and still sick from the conditions has cost us another three days of recovery and doctors visits.

Easy to get taxi. Near Copacabana. Ok breakfast.

It was dirty. It was seriously dirty. Hear on the wall in the shower - not ours. Bed was horrible. If I was going to afganistan I would expect this standard. We had a luxury room, but we might as well be living on a 2 star hotel. And now Im being nice to the 2 star hotel.

Nothing special, just hotel with old furniture and high price, but on beach. personnel speak english portuguese and spanish. can use towels for beach. hotel 3 stars

O atendimento foi excelente, os serviços foram feitos com presteza, o pessoal sempre muito atencioso e a localização é ótima.

A estrutura é bastante antiga, e principalmente os banheiros merecem reforma urgente. O preço vale pela localização e não pelo conforto.

Elevadores muito antigos, estavam quebrados o tempo todo, tendo os hóspedes que dividir o elevador de serviço com os funcionários!!! O banheiro ficava inundado depois do banho e tudo era muito antigo, este hotel parou no tempo!!! Não recomendo!

Sim; os toalets deixam muito a desejar. O chuveiro fica dentro de uma banheira velha e não há box, apenas uma cortina que fica incomando durante o banho.
