Center Hotel  

No Internet. No shampoo. Bad "atmosphere" U will never want to return there

It is5 minute Walking distance to the Cruise Port. A very safe area. You are at the center of the city close to the Central Bank. Only thing is there is only one person there who spoke english. Full Hot breakfast included .

They were the only restaurant opened on New Years day. Everywhere in other hotels they were closed. For the money during Copacabana fire works it is worth every penny. Its only 25 min from GIG ( International airport ) in a safe area. Hotel itself is a little old but clean.

Just the location. Downtown, in the heart of the business district

I checked-in at about 18:00 and there was no towels and soap for a shower. I complain about that and they took 45 minutes to supply it. My fridge was empty and I asked them to provide me some water. They told me that it would take 10 to 15 minutes, but it never happened.

Terrible hotel and charge me one more day.

Location

High price considering the facilities. I just stayed there because there were no vacancy in others hotels. For the same price it is possible to stay in a better place. There were mosquitos in the room. Tv set was old, few channels. There were no rooms for no smokers. Staff seemed to be frustraded working there, so they were not very nice and polite.

I really liked the location

When I arrived in the room, it wasn't smelling very good. Moreover, the shower didn't work very good...Maybe, it's because center hotel is cheap hotel.

Everything. No room service, no cleaning tables at breakfast, no glass inside the room to drink water! The hotel is clearly taking advantage of the high demand of passengers, but I assure that a customer with a minimum of good taste will have only one experience at this hotel. Additionally, they charged one extra day, in spite I had informed two days before I will be leaving early. It´s the worst hotel I´ve ever stay in Rio.

It was super fast, but everything went well and I really enjoyed the hotel!

Sinceramente não gostei de nada.

O hotel é horrível, sujo, mal frequentado. O quarto tem cheiro de mofo, instalações precárias com péssimo aspecto, roupa de cama velha e em mau estado de conservação. As paredes estavam mofadas e o ar condicionado era barulhento.

The cleaning staff are helpful, friendly and good at their job, as are the porters.

The food served as part of the breakfast is absolutely terrible. The bread was mouldy, the coffee sat for hours on end without being changed, the fruit was off, the eggs were off and there were usually no dishes on which to eat food on because there were not enough staff to wash the dishes on time! The selection was dismal and most people I met said they usually skipped it and went out to eat rather than experience it each morning. This is not only a health hazard but a complete rip-off considering the prices for the rooms. A health inspector should be sent to this hotel.

When I made the reservation, you charged the credit card and it is not correct.

A única coisa legal do Center Hotel é a sua localização que é excelente. Apenas os funcionários da recepção (inclusive uma mulher) e uma camareira atenderam bem, foram atenciosos.

Não gostei de várias coisas do hotel. 1º - Paga-se 10% de taxa de serviço, iss, porém o hotel não dispõe de serviço de quarto, a limpeza do quarto, de toalha e roupa de cama e do quarto é ruim, a internet só funciona na recepção. E demais aspectos a seguir, que me fazem questionar o por que desse 10%? 2º - o hotel com cheiro de morfo, cortinas sujas, ededron com mancha de sangue e ao solicitar a troca, fui informada pela camareira que não havia mais, pois a lavadeira estava doente. 3º - a camareira disse que só poderia arrumar o quarto se fosse pela manhã. Se passasse desse período não arumaria mais. 4º - o café da manhã era simples, isso tudo bem, mas as mesas sempre estavam sujas, os funcionários tiravam apenas os prato e copos, porém farelos e sujeiras continuavam na mesa, não havia uma mesa limpa, inclusive as 6:30. Faltou pão um dia, e ao reclamar um funcionário respondeu que acabou pois alguém comeu a mais, pois foi solicitado 200 pães. E eu com isso? O gosto do café era horrivel, e no 1º dia estava frio e olhe que era às 6:30. 5º - Funcionários insatisfeitos com o serviço, mal humorados, reclamando do hotel na frente do cliente: "Isso aqui deveria é falir, essa porcaria.", Fala de uma funcionária. Principalmente os que trabalhavam no restaurante. O preço que se paga não condiz com a realidade do hotel. Pelo preço espera algo melhor, no entanto não, só consegui atacar a minha renite. A relação custo/beneficio não é boa, mas isso depende do bolso de cada um. Pois já me hospedei em hoteis mas baratos e que não deixavam a desejar, muito pelo contrario eram melhores que o Center. Enfim para mim, é enganação o fato de ser 3 estrelas, pois não a encontrei. Para mim é 2 estrelas. Me senti lesada, muito insatisfeita com o hotel.
