The street is in the evening a little bit interesting....
The location is perfect and the staff was quite friendly. They didn't have a great choice for breakfast but it was all right. The rooms are very spacious but the set-up a little bit poor. There are lots of restaurants nearby so that was good.
The rooms had a funny smell and the wifi didn't work at all except at the lobby. The staff couldn't speak English.
Location, modern look, breakfast
We stayed Eco suited before and after our amazon adventure and it was excellent. We arrived on New Year's Day and everything was closed, tr staff at the hotel helped us find somewhere to eat dinner which was great. The rooms were comfortable and ever all a great stay.
The hotel was in a good central location and the room was comfortable and spacious. I stayed 2 nights there as a startoff point to a 4 day trip to the Anazon. The hotel was happy to allow me to leave a piece of luggage with them, which I picked up on my way back from the Amazon, when i stayed another night. Joyca (not sure of spelling) was the staff on duty at the front desk and she was very helpful, going out of her way to find me a taxi that takes credit cards when i had ran out of cash.
The breakfast could be improved especially since the cut fruits looked old and crinkled. Also the room, although it looked clean, felt dusty when i walked barefoot. Finally, the shower only had cold water. Or let's put it this way: the difference in temperature between the hot and cold water was like the difference in temp. between Rio Negro and the Solemois! (Thankfully it was so hot, i did not mind it much.) ALSO, I wish they would sell bigger water bottles, especially since everything closes at 6pm in Manaus!
lovely bed, clean hotel, good, hot shower, Nice location
breakfast was very sober and uncomfortable (noisy) room. Only water available was in 250ml little mini bottles, which is very bad for the environment and inefficiënt. Inefficiënt airco system. There is nothig ecologic on this hotel, so the name is somewhat misleading
Location was good, staff was friendly, breakfast was great, room was clean and comfortable.
Common areas of hotel were not airconditioned
Reception staff were very helpful. Booked in quickly. Had a problem with hot water, it was sorted on the same day. Assisted with local transportation buses and taxis.
Probably a little further from good restaurants than we anticipated.
We were three people in a room and it was spacious and very clean. It was also very quiet. Breakfast was fine but not as lavish as some other places we have stayed at.
The elevator worked sporadically which might bother those who don't climb stairs (we do so it was no problem).
The front desk staff was very helpful and spoke English. Rosey was my favorite staff as she helped with travel in the city and suggested places to visit. She was always cheerful. A/C was left on when we were not in room so the room was cool when we returned. Furnishings were new and a simple style. In room safe was very useful.
The hot water had a odor of rusted iron and stained white clothing yellow. The restaurant was hot during breakfast. They need to turn on the A/C early to cool down the room before the 7 am breakfast. Breakfast was ok and coffee was good. There were some problems with taxi transportation since EcoSuites changed name from International Hotel when it was refurbished so use the old name if taxi driver doesn't know EcoSuites. The WiFi was not useable from our room on the 5th floor. We had to go down to the lobby to use it most of the time.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They speak English. The room was spacious, nice and clean. I would recommend it.
Downtown Manaus looked really scary my first night of arrival. I thought I ended up in an abandoned, deserted area occupied by homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk. I was so afraid that I didn't want to sleep the first night. To my greatest surprise, the next morning I went downstairs and saw a bustling area with many stores and lots of people. The moral to the story : Don't jump to conclusion, it's a nice hotel!
Personnel very friendly, we were leaving 5.15 in the morning and they organised breakfast just for us :) fantastic! Hotel rooms very spacious. Location, just a few meters from the centre.
clean room, staff is very helpful, close to the port and the market
wifi in the room not stable, air conditioning a bit too loud, city center of Manaus offers limited dinner alternatives and can be a bit dangerous at night
The receptionist spoke good English (rare in Brazil) and was very nice and extremely helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. They could add tea/coffee and a kettle to the rooms, but even without we could not complain.
-Spacious room that well accomodated our family of four; attentive staff who helped with bags and other needs; coffee machine a plus!
Location is desolate at night, but this is typical of downtown Manaus at night...
Stuff of the hotel in my opinion is very nice and polite. Hotel has good location for business but poor location for family vacation.
I didnt like the breakfast. The quality of food is bad. Also i didnt like my bed. I thought the mattress was old and room was noisy.
Good location Simple but everything went well and the staff was very helpful
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good for the price of the hotel.
The location of the hotel was in a very bad area of downtown Manaus. The facilities were very old and not in the best state. The wi-fi was very bad. You could only connect if you were on the first floor.
Big room, hot shower in the middle of the day, good breakfast, nice staff, air conditioning
No view, small street
Convenient location, god value for money, very helpful staff, newly decorated and quite large rooms
Internet doesn't work in (some ?!) rooms
Good hotel with a central location. Local people in Manaus were friendly.
There are persistent touts at the airport who if they make contact with you eg organise a taxi ride for you will then ring you in your hotel room in the morning (unsolicited) and try to get you to book a tour through them and may even turn up at the hotel breakfast trying to do the same, saying they are attached to the hotel (which is seems unlikely to be true)
Large room, clean, good aircon ,good shower, modern safe, friendly staff
The hotel is modern and is in an excellent condition. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help me. It is in a very central location near the floating harbour, so if you are coming of the Amazon I would highly recommend it.
Staff was really helpful when advice was asked to move around the city. Also, they provided great assistance to the needs of a baby in the group. The hotel has been recently refurbished and space in the room is quite generous
The breakfast is quite limited in variety, and after a few days, you started feeling bored of it.
There was a slight confusion over the booking. The Manageress Georgia handled this situation magnificently and I cannot praise her attitude too much. Highly recommended.
