The location is outstanding, the room is excellent and the view is picture postcard perfect.

WiFi was out the entire trip. I kept complaining and they kept saying that it is working for everyone else. Finally on the last day they came up to the room and discovered that there is no reception in my room. One router is out. It would have been much better if they had discovered this when I first complained on the very first day. Second issue is that breakfast does not start until 8:30, and in reality more like 8:50. As early risers, this is much too late. At lease they could have a pot of coffee going and some fruit available.

Great location, 5 minute walk to nice restaurants and shops, 10 minutes to the center of the town. Incredible sunset views. Good A/C, parking, impeccably maintained. The best breakfast buffet I have had in Brazil. In the past we stayed in the more expensive hotels on the same road which are also nice. But El Cazar is less expensive, but has same great views and location and is more Brazilian in feeling, with a very friendly and always helpful staff.

Wifi was slow and intermittent, sauna was available only 4 hours a day, ice needs to be requested at the bar.

The location and facilities were great. But still overpriced. Nice breakfast, and view from the balcony.

That they wanted to charge us 10 % extra in tax, which according to Booking.com should be included. Bad knowledge of any other language than portugese. Expensive minibar.

This hotel is located in a walk distante to the main street, restaurants, bars and night clubs. The swiming pool and the view are amazing. The staff is really helpful and friendly.

    Nothing. Everything was just perfect.

Location. Pleasant, helpful and friendly reception and waiting staff. Wifi good in room.

Rooms and bathrooms in particular in need of refurbishment/ updating. Furnishings dated and shabby.

We stayed at El Cazar hotel for 3 nights. The location is excellent. Close to bars, restaurants and shops. However, the hotel doesn't have its own beach. You would need to walk about 10-15 min to the closest one.The walk is very pleasant though, but do keep this in mind if you are planning a beach vacation. The hotel is very stylish and well decorated. Our room, however, was a bit small to our taste. But big bathroom and a balcony with a nice city view compensated this minor con. The room was very clean - we had a housekeeping service twice a day! The housekeeper even changed a day comforter to a night one every day! But the main thing about El Cazar hotel is its breakfast (it was included in our room price)! That was the best hotel breakfast we've ever had! Don't even think about skipping it! It's prepared just for you - not a cliché buffet we're all used to. Meat, cheese, fresh fruits, freshly baked bread, fresh-squeezed juice + an omelet which the cook is going to prepare just for you if you still feel like hungry after this giant meal.

There were only one girl who spoke English and she wasn't always around. So had some communication issues sometimes.

Location is excellent, right on sea front. Very clean and cosy. Good breakfast buffet, nice small swimming pool, calm.

Decoration of room and especially bath room is outdated.
