shower, rambling layout (designed to look like a mission or monastery), quiet and peaceful, good breakfast

jacuzzi was not "running"; walk to beach and shops was five blocks

Staff extremely helpful and friendly--helped us with durections, reservations, etc. Hotel Giprita is a very comfortable lodging establishment located in an extremely safe neighborhood in Ubatuba. In addition to spacious rooms and bathrooms (best showers we had in Brazil--string water pressure, hot water), there are several common areas and amenities, making it a great place for families. Among the amenities--playground and eating area for children, swimming pool, foosball, ping pong, volleyball court, billiards room, large tv lounge with very comfortable chairs. Building is in the style of a Spanish monastery. Breakfast ample and similar to other Brazilian pousadas, with added scrambled eggs with cheese and variety of unusual juices (cashew fruit and passion fruit).

Could not find anything to dislike.

Beautiful hotel; you could stay here for an entire week and not leave - everything you need is right there! Also, very close by are lots of restaurants and bars so it's quite well located!
