Good location, the service excellence.
Amazing location, beachside, spacious rooms, good breakfast
The front desk staff was a hit or miss. Of the 3 days I stayed, the only helpful staff member was the person I first met when I checked in. Other than that, the other staff members were not that helpful and were too busy laughing and talking to one another than helping out guests, unless you speak Portuguese.
The staff were helpful and spoke english. The location is good, on the beach. Decent gym in the basement. Most impressed with English staff as we had trouble at other hotels in Brazil so very nice to have helpful staff here.
- Located on the beach - Friendly staff with multiple English speakers - Breakfast included
- Upkeep of building exterior (nearly everything in Brazil could use a good power-washing and fresh coat of paint), common areas (elevators broke multiple times; stairway landings were filled with junk), and bathrooms (poorly lit, no hot water in the shower, grimy mirrors) - Very uncomfortable mattress on bed complete with holes in the sheets and stains on the duvet - Lack of light in bedroom (to hide imperfections?)
The property was in an ok area and looks good from the outside.
The property had holes in the ceiling, bad finishings and was just in an over all bad state.
The price and the room with the balcony with the beach view. The location was remote which was a good thing (but also a bad thing). The daily breakfast.
The location was too remote and there wasn't too much near the area. You had to take a cab to anywhere and there wasn't too much convenience near by. The gym or sauna did not work. The pool is excellent but it only gets a small amount of sun (obviously nothing the hotel can do about that)
The girl at the breakfast door is so gorgeous, got up every morning to eat my wheats and just watch her ( creapy, I know! But she is so hot)
Breakfast food some breat was rotten!
Hotel was right on the beach. Staff spoke english well. Good breakfast buffet.
20+ floors, but had only one working elevator. A/C on elevator was off which made the ride up and down multiple floors really hot and stuffy. Wifi did not work very well inside room; had to literally stand by the room door to get a signal.
Ocean front property with beach access. Ocean view rooms, you can hear the waves crashing. Very large rooms, mine was like an apartment with full kitchen. Nice pool area.
Cleanliness could be better. There was an ant problem in my room, I told the front desk and they didn't do anything about it. The bathroom vents are connected between rooms. I could hear everything the person in the next room was doing in their bathroom. It's kind of far from the main parts of Recife. Laundry service is crazy expensive and the clothes didn't even smell or feel that clean when returned.
Nice location in front of the beach, and very convenient for us that needed to be close to the airport for an early flight next morning. Wi-Fi works everywhere and the reception is 24 hrs. The room is big and confortable and we had a great view.
Everything with the hotel was Ok. But I do not recommend the beauty salon at the lobby. They offer cheap prices but it was not good quality.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and we had a nice view of the beach (though we never had a chance to go and check out the beach unfortunately). There was also a restaurant and pharmacy across the street. We stayed here as it was one of the cheaper options (though was still expensive during world cup, but I would think regularly it would be a lot cheaper).
There were only two elevators, one of which didn't always work (and we were on the 17th floor, so it was annoying getting to and from our room at times...but you get an nice view of outside from the elevator). Also, this hotel is also a residence, which I didn't mind, it just really confused us at first. The area was a bit far, not much going on there, we had to take taxis everyday (at least 15-20 minutes to get to old Recife). The internet also didn't always work.
Very badly maintained. Not in a good location - very far from Recife.
The staff is great. Not only at the front desk, but also the maids - they do not only clean, but try to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is quite OK. Nice place in front of the hotel for lunch or dinner and a beer. Live music on some evenings
There is supposed to be a gym (says at the entrance), but I only found a sign at the pool area in the basement.
No food service in the evenings, it close early and the quality of food really poor for breakfast. Elevators pretty old. Bad Internet service / wifi. Rooms are old
Having the free breakfast every day made it easy to get a good start of the day. Room was well maintained for towels and sheets and toiletries every day. Also nice that room included refrigerator that we used and a stove that we did not.
I assume I did not get a renovated room, as the window would slide open with the wind in the evening.
Bathroom and too many insects inside the hotel
Facilities were terrible. Elevators never worked properly.
Staff was friendly enough
It's a real dump. Needs 100% remodel.
By the beach. Nice, attentive staff.
During check-in we were informed that our rate was only for one person, even though my booking confirmation said it was for two. After a half hour of discussion with the front desk staff, I had to meet with the manager (Bia) the next morning to get this resolved. Very unfortunate! Hotel is in shambles. Poor maintenance is very obvious. Our room smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. There was dirt and sand inside my bed sheets. Horrible!
Wide, empty spaces. No restaurant or room service, just breakfast. Wind whirls through the windows. Dark halls u til motion sensors work. Dripping air conditioned. Narrow beds. Lousy wi fi.
The hotel is right on the beach; the breakfast was excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful, and went out of their way for us.
The pool needed cleaning; the internet was down.
Probably just the location being on the beach with an ocean view. One staff member spoke better-than-average English and tried very hard to make us feel welcome.
The room did not give us the impression of a clean comfortable three star hotel. It has to be two star or less. There was a safe, but was not attached to anything. The door had a key, but it was loose enough to be easily broken down. We did not feel safe leaving our passports, money, valuables in our room. So, we carried them at all times.
- directly located at the beach - good breakfast (fresh & a lot of choices)
- far away from the center of Recife - neighborhood not very beautiful - hardly any acceptable restaurant options in walking distance
The front desk made efforts to help me. Bed is cool The view to ocean is pretty.
The internet and maintenance staff never helped me, even I called every single day. These people simply don't care about their guests. Poor, too poor. No internet, my TV was with problems and they don't made efforts to help me. The breakfast team thinks that the that local is to their own confort not to guest confort.....TV on aloud, They turned of the air conditioning to put us out of there. They don't prepared with restaurant or a bar
