The 5-star oceanfront Bahia Othon Palace offers luxurious suites and complete leisure facilities overlooking Ondina Beach.
Score from 1564 reviews Very good 8/10
In front of Itapuã Beach, this 5-star resort provides private beach access and has rooms with a balcony. Its restaurants serve typical Bahia dishes as well as international cuisine.
Score from 500 reviews Good 7.1/10
Conveniently located right in downtown Salvador, the Sheraton Bahia features comfortable accommodations and convenient facilities.
Score from 570 reviews Excellent 8.6/10
About a half mile from Iguatemi Shopping Center, the InterCity Premium Salvador features a rooftop pool, spa and hot tub. It provides a buffet breakfast, room service and free Wi-Fi in public areas.
Score from 826 reviews Excellent 8.6/10
Unfriendly staff, dirty rooms, pool, and beach, completely outdated unusable fitness equipment, overpriced awful food, noisy rooms with no sound proofing from outside noise or other rooms, located near nothing so if you plan to eat or shop off property it is a costly taxi fare.
Location great staff beautiful people staff was excellent.
Room was comfortable Most FOH staff had acceptable to good English which I appreciated esoecially as I had not expected this. Wi-fi was good. Thanks Staff polite and friendly Not as close to town as I thought (my error, not yours)
Never did see the free shuttle bus to Salvador Norte! Staff did not know where the stop was at the mall to make a return to the hotel. Stopped with no notice. Overcharged by reception on Salvador Tour Room could have been cleaner
1) Beach location 2) Quick access to airport 3) Cleanliness
1) Lobby bar service 2) Noise of some thing like a generator which disturbed ones night time sleep. This was only noticeable while I stayed in room 484. 3) Staff not proactive in advising residents of what they could do locally or in Salvador.
the beach , the pool area and the breakfast buffet.
hotel outdate the staff is always fixing problems insisted of maintain stuff properly. No good entertainment at all day or night. they close the pool at sunset.
Lovely Food (only at Breakfast and Restaurant; don't order at the Bar!!!) nice and quite there, good to find a rest staff was very nice and spoke english and german
the hotel is quite far away from the centre and the connection into the city was quite bad we had to pay to use the computers/internet (only wifi was free)
Excellent customer services. Providing me and my friends goood beds with clean beddings. Great view from the balcony. Definelty recommend this hotel for everyone espeically a group or couple.
confusing with exits from the hotel room and the buffet is very pricey.
Location can't be beat.
Wi-Fi was very, very spotty
I like that the hotel is situated on the beach front and not far from Salvador Airport. It also has a good private pool suitable for families. There are numerous reception staff that speak English adequately. The hotels surrounding area is clean. The beach if lovely but with the Atlantic Ocean can be quite windy at times. There are two local supermarkets, pharmacies, a petrol station and various shops.
All staff with exception of the reception speak almost no English. Service in the lobby bar was poor and unacceptable at times. Breakfast had no variation. Fruit juices were watered down.
As we were there for world cup , there was a good playing ground (football). The breakfast was good and parking too.
The first room had a big cock roach and we asked the reception to change our room but they done quickly.when ever ask for something like towel or etc we should ask it for manu times .
The hotel is on the beach but appears to support project Tamar. It has everything a resort hotel would have and has the most comprehensive breakfast you could wish for.
Everything is amazing, a real place for relaxation.
That is not in Salvador, in another area.
The localization is near the airport and just in front of the beach.
If you order a taxi at the hotel they charge you more than if you ask just some meters outside
Breakfast quality good. Room Ok. Very good Wi Fi connection.
Checkin very slow. Price of self service dinner very high. Taking in to account the price charged for dinner at the hotel and taxi charges from airport to hotel and Hotel to Camaçari Industrial complex, Salvador seems to be the most expensive city in Brazil.
Services, staff, food, food pricing
Food is very expensive!
Essen gut. Pool gut. Comida boa. Piscina boa. Food good. Pool good. Es gibt praktisch nichts auszusetzen. Nada para reclamar. Nothing to complain about.
Fitnessraum gross. Kleine Auswahl an Trainingsgeräten. Trainingsgeräte sind nicht optimal für Training. Academia grande. Mâs poucos aparelhos e não era muito agradavel treinar com estes aparelhos. Big gym but only a few devices. Devices not very good for an optimal workout.
The beach is great.
The food is not good at all. Our room was very dirty with dirty and stained bed covers. This hotel is far from 5 star, I would say 3 star would be fair.
The only hotel close to the beach ..
Please don't write you have a fitness room if you only have dead machine there. This outlook was very destructive. The second is that nearly nobody speak English. It was very hard vor ordering anything.
Very nice location at the beach. Really great party hotel for young people. Nice (open air) set-up of the entrance hall and swimming pool.
I almost missed my plane in the morning. In the evening the staff said it was not possible to make a reservation but there were Always taxis in the morning. In the morning they said they were sorry and it could take a while. It took almost an hour to get a taxi and with a lot of stress I arrived at the airport where I had to be very unpolite as I had only 2 minutes left before the check-in closed.
The hotel was under construction (renovation), there was no reception! They improvise a frontdesk... It was a mess.... Everywhere very dirt, too much dust... As they are not abble to manager guests and construction they shoud choose one of them.
The beach was beautiful
The renovations that were going on in the lobby
Staff was really helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice and big, pool is beautiful, same as surroundings, it is close to the airport and directly at the beachfront. Food is fantastic!
Bed was a bit hard, shower is not so great like most hotels in Brazil.
