Hotel Harbor Colonial    

The location was very close to the Iguassu Falls.

If you are interested in nightlife, then this is not the place to be. The dining options are also restricted.

Friendly and helpful staff, travel desk excellent, courtesy cars much appreciated. Coffee shop. Senior management always in evidence but not obtrusive. Ideal situation for Falls and Itaipu. Perhaps Itaipu could be promoted more strongly

Stayed here 4 nights. Location is good if primarly in Foz do Iguacu for the Falls and Bird Park. Hotel have free pickup and drop off the airport (confirm with them firmly before you arrive) They picked us up at 1:30 A.M. with others in a fully packed van. Food served in hotel is good and portions are large. Food and drink prices are on the par with outside restaurants. To go to city and bird park you can catch bus #120 it costs 2.90 r$ for adults. Hotel can arrange drop off and pickup from the National Park (falls) for 30r$ for return trip. You can even walk its about 1km. To go to Argentinian side of the falls hotel asked 150r$ for 3. Instead you can take the bus #120 (for 2.90r$ to town (last stop) from there you can take another bus to Puerto Iguazu for 4r$ and from the bus station take another bus to the park for 25r$ round trip. Although it is not much cheaper in total, Its a fun alternative to direct transportation form hotel.

Rooms are a little rundown. Bathroom supplies were not replaced one day. Towel had stains on T. Staff, even the front desk employees cannot speak english. Communication was a bit of a problem. Outside pool was dirty and could not use it. Air condition was a wall unit and never seen a noisier one. Minibar/fridge was an also running so noisy. When both run at the same time could not sleep because of so much noise.

Staff is very friendly, great location 2 min from the entrance of the national park Tourism agency inside the hotel provides great help with the organization of the visits

The front desk people spoke English,The hotel room was comfortable,free parking,very close to the entrance to the falls

The dinner buffet was very poor,probably a better idea to drive to a restaurant in town. The breakfast buffet was a lot better.

Airport transfer very bad and driver very very bad not helping us and other customers also said like this.even the otel 5 Minutes far from airport we wıll wait at the Airport and shutle servise 40 Minutes .

Very sweet hotel. Great location-to the waterfalls and bird park.Great price, the area is very peaceful and beautiful. Stuff is very helpful, polite especially the tour agency-thank you so much to Jessica for the recommendations of good places to go out at night, organization of transfer from/to airports, to/from the sights. If I get a chance to go to this city again I will defenetly stay in this hotel.

1. Good location, walking distance from Iguassu Park entrance. 2. Great service and English speaking staff. 3. Great breakfast. 4. Free pickup and drop off from Airport. 5. Huge well decorated lounge area, pool and spa. 6. Optional tour service to both Brazil and Argentina sides of Iguazu falls at reasonable price.

Hotel is a bit far from city centre. But there is not much in the Iguazu city to miss.

Staff very friendly, location excellent! Our purpose was to visit the Waterfalls and the hotel offers the perfect cost/benefit relation. We walked 15min. to the entrance. The breakfast was great. We didn't feel mosquitoes!

The pool was not very clean; otherwise everything was OK

1.Touristic services in the hotel are excellent!!! We had not a lot of time for excursions (1.5 days), but we succeed to see everything we wanted in a best way and had a good meal before the flight in the city! They work really excellent! 2.the location of the hotel is wonderful!!! It is 3-5 min from the airport, 3-5 min from the Brazilian side of Iguasu. If you want to watch the waterfalls in a best way for a short period of time, it would be better to stay in this hotel.

1.Shutters in the room closed not very well. We worried a little about that fact, but finally everything was ok. 2.there were some ants in the room. It wasn't a problem.

It was very close to the falls(10 min walking)the tourism agency is organizing trips to the Argentinian side for a fair price, so I recommend to book your trip via the hotel(135 reais per person).It is a must to go to Argentina, the falls offer an amazing view! The hotel was clean, the staff friendly but their English is poor.You can have all three meals there.If you want to go to the city, you can take the bus in front of the hotel for 2.9 Reais per ride.The last bus returning from the city to the hotel is at 22:00 and you can take it from the station in front of McDonalds.

It's definitely not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. The price/value ratio is not acceptable. We had blood on our sheets and around 3am drunken young guys falsely entered our room with their electronic room key!!! How can this happen in 4 star hotel??? If this had happened in a time where we had not been in our room, they could have stolen all our belongings without any notice. Further we had to wait 1 hour to get into our room, although we checked in late in the afternoon!

Pre-arranged airport shuttle never showed up and had to talk to three staff before they agreed to reimburse my taxi fare. I've never stayed at a four star hotel that wouldn't lend you an electrical adapter - this hotel only sold them. It was clean except for ants in the bathroom.

Not picked up from airport as requested on booking,and not fully compensated R 50 for taxi we had to use because of no shuttle from hotel as requested.

I liked the location, near the Airport and the Iguacu National Park, the free shuttle from and to the airport, the presence on site of the Harbor Tourism Agency and their good service, the pool and the restaurant. Thanks to everybody for the good service.

The presence of many little crawling insects in the room.

Hotel was in a great location just 1 km from the Falls & had great facilities, we are really glad that we stayed there and not in Town at Foz

The receptions at the lobby and most of the staff were friendly to us.

I booked the room from booking.com as a smoking room and when we checked in and bellboy monitored us to our room but he did not say anything even how to use the room card or another important thing. The hotel is four star hotel but it does not seem so. For exemple.. Very small and unclean swimming pool, small beds and very poor breakfast..

I liked the fact that it was close from Iguazú falls (Brazil area)

Location is good, near to the airport and not far from the national park. Hotel also provides free airport transportation. Breakfast is good with many varieties. Price is reasonable compare to hotels nearby.

we found that the lobby/restaurant toilet is very dirty. The flushes didn't work!

Nice Staff and free Airporttransfer

If you like to have a cigarette with your beer than you have to book an other hotel. Very bad Smokingristiction. Not even at the pool or in the garden smoking is permitted, with the fact, that everyone ignors it and everyone is smoking everwhere. Funny not to have a Smokingarea and get over this problem. It is a real familyhotel and not realy nice for individual tourists
