Close to the fall; close to the airport; nice facilities in public area.
Rooms are REALLY basic (but all necessities ere there)
The location (close to the airport, to the water falls bazilian side, and to the road to the argentinian side), the price, the reception, the in-house tourism agency.
Everything was quite old. The water of the swimming pool didn't look very clean. The Wifi and the TV were not working properly (almost nothing).
The room was really simple. The location is good, 15min walking to the birds and the falls parks and to the airport. The staff was nice.
There was a big cockroach in the room. We asked for a doble bad and there were two single beds.
The location was good and the wifi.
They put use right next to the bar and they had music every night.
Close to airport and hotel offers free shuttle service. Close to Brazilian side of Iguazu falls and the bird park (about 20 min walk) or return transfer from hotel 30 Reias each. Staff speak good English and can arrange day trips to the Argentian side of the falls and the dam. Internet works well in the foyer and is free Nice pool area and breakfast is good.
Very old motel style hotel - rooms are only ok, very basic and antiquated air con. Bathroom looks old. Lots of insects around. Make sure you don't get a room on the ground floor. Hotel is about a 20 min taxi journey from the centre of Foz. Restaurant at the hotel is only ok for dinner- very basic food.
The location is great
I sent an email to the hotel two weeks before our arriving. The van went to pick us up at the airport and didn't have enough space for everybody. The driver left with my son and my mom and a lot of people. I had to be at the airport with my husband waiting for the driver to come back. We made a reservation for a room with a big bed and a single bed, they gave us a 3 single beds room, the AC didn't work and we didn't sleep because it was super hot. Nest day I asked to change rooms and we got a new one. Again they didn't give us what we asked for, we got 3 single bed room. When I went to the bathroom there was a paper on top of the toilet saying that was disinfected. When I opened it there was a gigantic poop there. I am very disappointed with this hotel. My family is not staying there again and I am not recommending it to any of my friends. :(
Shuttle was waiting for me when I arrived despite 8 hour delay. I found that the hotel is 1.5 km from airport. There is a public bus stop outside the hotel that goes to the Park but I walked and it was around 1 km away. You can use these public buses to get to the airport, park and also city (only 3 reais). They kindly agreed to let me leave my luggage with them when I went to the Argentina side of the falls.
I asked for a room with a view. The room I received did have a view - a view of a naked couple across from my room :-))) Room was dated. I would suggest upgrading the rooms and then it would be value for money.
Close to the airport and free shuttle service Close to the Park Good restaurant Big rooms and comfortable
The warm swimming pool and the french speaking recepcionist
problem of coordination for reservation cha nge with booking and us
The pools were nice--my kid loved the slide. They also had ping pong (free) and billiards (small charge). The room was nice, though don't leave food out or you will have a lot of ants. Except for small ants on the walls the rooms were kept quite clean. The restaurant was mostly great (except for the juice--very weak). Good general service and free airport transfers.
The hotel is far from the city, with no other restaurants around. Luckily the hotel food is good-- but order early, because the service is bad and the food takes forever to come.
nice staff nice breakfast very close to the airport and iguacu water fall. perfect garden and swimming pool~~ i had a wonderful time there!!
It was Great that the Transfer to the waterfalls was uncomlicated, very Easy and the Price was reasonable The Wohle Service was good
But there is Not really a Smoking area
Location 10 out of 10. Free pickup and drop to airport.
Linen/bedsheets were old and looked unclean.
The hotel is very close to the Falls and the aeroport.
It was very noisy, we could hear every word of our neighbors, who lived next door. The walls of the room seemed to be out of paper.
Easy walk to falls, free airport transfer both ways. Good wifi. Fantastic breakfast. Large bed.
Noisy room next to stairs. Bedsheets not big enough for bed. No room safe. Evening Restaurant food was poor. Mass tourism hotel with high turnover.
Breakfast has quite wide assortment.
Poor rooms and social areas. Felt like a hospital.
Clean, nice hotel really close to the brasilian side of the falls. Mostly english speaking and really helpful staff. Good tour opportunities offered by the hotel. Nice pool and outdoor area to relaxe.
Staff, policy of hotel- not allow to check in / out accordingly. Intersted in money.
The location was very good although a little far from alternative eating options. The restaurant was adequate for the two nights we stayed. The pool was good to come back to after a hot day's sightseeing. It was very good value for money.
The rooms and hallways were very austere
The facilities are pretty decent and it's a good value for money option. I have paid about US$ 40 for each night in the hotel and given the facts that there are a decent restaurant, a good bar, pools (climatized too) and a helpful staff (for portuguese speaking people. I can't tell about the proficiency of the staff in other languages). A hotel's partner company at the lobby offers a cab ride slightly cheaper than local taxis to wherever you want to go. Less than 5 minutes from the intl airport.
The "free" wireless Internet connection in the room was very poor to the point I could not use it at all. Then I had to use the restaurant's one which was good. A point I think I should make as well is that there has been an issue with my bill. They have charged me 2 dinner meals and 2 soda drinks which belonged to someone else. I noticed the mistake and they've charged me the right amount then. I've wondered whether or not it was a real mistake. Although it's pretty close to the airport, it's not so close to downtown. About 15 km to downtown. The sound of the planes was almost inaudible. It has not nagged me. Yet for the most sensitive people I suggest ear plugs and that will do for 0% noise.
location is excellent, the staff, the breakfast, the price
Breakfast is the best I have been in South America. Location is very good. So close to the park and the airport. Wifi is strong. Has a tour company in the hotel. Very convenient.
No elevator. No adaptor for borrowing.
Located just next to Foz do Iguazu NP and with convenient and easy booking of tours to the falls in both Brazil and Argentina.
The hotel or resort is quite big, so during our off season visit it felt very empty.
Cafe food could have been better
- swimming pool, - close to the airport and a transfer to the airport early in the morning, - check-in was fast, as I send them all data they needed before arriving
there was only one guy who really could speak English and was helpful, his friend after some time admitted that she doesn't speak well and she advised me to wait for someone who speaks English, - it was impossible to borrow an iron, - we had to pay extra for an access to Internet, - the breakfast was included, but we were leaving too early to take it; I asked if there was possiblity to have a coffee/ anything to drink instead, but I was informed that I could only order an extra complete breakfast for an extra charge
