Location of the hotel is perfect, just a couple of 100 meters walk to the entrance of the Iguacu park. Swimmingpool and the garden are great! Breakfast is also very good. Rooms are very small and not so clean. We found a condom in our bath! We also asked several times for a baby bed and didn't get one while they promised to place it for several times.

Location All bar and restaurant staff asked for 10% tips which is appalling. They would be better served if they set up tip boxes in the main hospitality areas.

Close to the waterfalls. The hotel and its garden was also nice. We had the junior suite which was optimal for 2 extra babybeds for 2 children under 2 year. Bathroom was not very clean and had mold on the wall. Only at the restaurant the 10% service fee was not included and jas to be paid cash.

Located just opposite the waterfall park entrance. Far from City centre. Two-way taxi ride to city (for E.G. dinner) costs about usd 50. Internet access (via provided laptop) terribly expensive.

There is very little that I liked about this hotel. I can point out one very nice and friendly staff member who tried to do everything she could to mitigate my anger about the hotel poor service quality and facilities. Other than that I can't say much more on the positive side. The only thing is the location on the edge of the Iguacu National Park (not the falls like they advertise). This hotel is the typical example of something that is advertised and priced as a 4 stars but can at the most reach 2. Staff is unfriendly, breakfast is poor the rooms smell badly and the facilities are not well maintained. I booked the hotel for a week and I truly regret. You should also pay attention to the food that is in its majority "recycled". There are lots of reptiles walking freely through the facilities particularly in the pool area which makes it dangerous specially if you are with children.

Great location, nice room, good pool. It would have been a very nice stay other than that All the staffs (from reception, cashier, waiters, bell boys to travel desk) are rude. Management- please take note! Your hotel is lovely but your staffs are such a let down, making your guests feel so unpleasant! Restaurant meals price and quality are ok, we didn't get pressured for tips. Judging from past reviews, I can see you've made some improvement there. It would have been a very nice stay other than that All the staffs (from reception, cashier, waiters, bell boys to travel desk) are rude. There is no service culture in the hotel and not just relating to individual staffs. They are unhelpful. They speak a reasonably amount of English so that wasn't an issue. They just ordered you to 'queue here' and 'sign there' without explaining what for. When asked for clarification they were just plain rude. This happened in many occassions, even when they overcharged me they still didn't want to expalin the bill. If you want anything they display a very unhappy face. If you complaint, they just walk away altogether. It took half an hour to checkout as there were only 1 staff who can take payment. So you queue to check out, wait 10 mins for them to check your mini bar, join another 20mins queue to pay.

We really liked this hotel. Situated right next to Iguassu Falls, it was comfortable, luxury bed linens and towels, the buffet food was wholesome and healthy with lots of fresh veg, fruits and it was possible to eat healthily. Staff were courteous and friendly, even offered us a late check out for no extra, and were quick to fix anything not working in rooms. Many spoke acceptable English. The pool area was crowded with families and young kids - which was not relaxing. Would definitely return but would avoid South American school holidays peak periods.

The location is great because the entrance to Iguaçu Falls Park, the Bird Park, and Helicopter Tour are all within walking distance. The breakfast buffet is decent but simple with lots of breads and fruits. The swimming pool is very relaxing with a bridge over it. There is an Eco trail that leads to the river about 1.2 km. There is a kids room with games and movies. There were no cooked items like eggs or pancakes on the breakfast. There is no spa facilities. However there is a fitness Center. Taxi or bus is required to get to any restaurants.

Very short walk to the Falls and the Bird Park. Short drive from the airport (R $20 with taxi). Visited the city one night. Did not think we missed much by staying close to the Park. Friendly staff. Buffet dinner and breakfast nothing spectacular but good quality. Lots of healthy options. Room was very clean. Would stay here again.

Staff all very helpfull and polite, spoke english well. Room was refurbished clean and comfortable, though a little small compared to some other hotels. Pool area nice with lots of welcome shade. Breakfast included was plentyful. Only ate evening in the bar, with menu average prices. Bus stops right outside the hotel. Easy to bus to/from airport a flat rate of BR2.75. The hotel offers airport transfer service but only if you contact them 48 hours prior to arrival. Overall a pleasant hotel and attentive staff, though a little on the high price side. Good location and quiet in extensive grounds. Right next to the bird park. Walking distance to Brazillian falls park.

Just behind copacana palace. So a very good location As usual the hotel offering tours but they make money on top. I'm Brazilian an found the same trip they offer for less. So always negotiate the price. 150 u should be able to see the crist, sugar loaf and the old part of the city or if u are in a big group try to close a deal with a taxi driver. They normally put the price very high so make a low offer to get a reasonable price

Location is great, if you are thinking of good place just for visiting the Iquasu water fall. The room we have got was not worth even 3 stars :(. but we were there for just 2 nights) please book the samba show 55 usd per person at great show and excellent food Hotel has good location 1,5 km from Airport and 500 m from park. The rest of the hotel is not worth 5 star, I would give them only 3 stars. Bathroom was the worst, we had a lot of ants in our room:(

Close to Brazil side of the falls clean and safe Terribly overrated!!! This so called 5 star hotel barely rates a 3! Nice facility but the service and attitude of the staff was shockeing...inflexible, sour, tight, lazy.....it was like staying at a luxury penitenciary...so many rules and limitation...food only average both breakfast (included) and dinner (not). Andm, location is only good if you want to walk to the Brazil side fo the falls..everything else is a $100 taxi..no place to go from there. Do not stay here...much better idea is to find a charming little place in Porto Iguazu (not foz) whiere you will find areas of restaurants, bars shoping within walking distance.

The hotel has a nice pool and the athmosphere is very relaxed. The check- in / check-out procedure is not very friendly. For me the staff was a bit too conceited & proud of whatever (especially front desk). The breakfast selection could be better (cereals, fruit (e.g. fruit salad)). No fitting bowl for cereals available.

Booked 3 rooms. 1 Superior class and 2 Junior suites. At check in was told I was being upgraded. No reason given, just told I was upgraded. Got to the rooms and they were all 3 superior class, which is a downgrade. As I walked to get some lunch, the desk clerk said he had some good news, he was upgrading me again. He handed me the keys to my 2 suites that I paid for originally and pretended he was doing me a huge favor. The employees. They were not necessarily rude, the just were not at all friendly and made you feel like you were bothering them. The only exception was Mr. Becker the bartender. I forgot his first name, but he was fabulous. He really stood out in a hotel full of drones. The "lady" at check-out was particularly bad, she seemed to have gotten her customer service training while a recruit in the east German military. She went out of her way to make me feel like I was bothering her.

The only thing we didn't like was the restaurant. The food they served was one of a kind you can expect in a bad road restaurant next to the highway and was definitely not worth the full price we paid. For the rest, we think it's a wonderful hotel with a great location.

“The staff was very friendly. The location for seeing the Falls is excellent. It is outside of town, but there is not much to see in town anyways. The restaurant was good, breakfast, which is included, was very nice, and we could be to the Brazilian falls and Bird park in about 5 minutes. My children also enjoyed the pool and playground. ” Megan, Sorocaba |
