Excellent location and walking distance from excellent bird park and the iguassu falls. Breakfast free is a nice bonus.

A huge spider showed up in our room. The amenities are very basic. Restaurant is only very simple and yet very expensive for the quality.

Hotel is in avery nice locations from the falls.. The staff is very helpfull in case you need some directions or advise on things to do thers...very nice place amd Iguazu is a magical place to be and hotel San Martin makes it even better

Location is excellent. Brazil airlines are often late (all our flights onTAM were delayed this trip) so it is nice to be located so close to the airport & the Brazil side of the falls. (Walking distance) The rooms are sleek & was the cleanest hotel we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Brazil. Very flexible options regarding tours both group & private. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. The buffet supper was excellent. Staff were friendly & I can't stress how clean the hotel was. We did not have the opportunity to use the pool & grounds as our flight was delayed & we arrived late. I read reviews about decor needing update. I disagree. I prefer less pictures & accessories as less clutter & less dust. Decor very appropriate for setting. Artwork in lobby very tasteful. We would return to this resort.

Nothing...Exceeded my expectations.

The hotel is nicely situated in the countryside an close to the falls, but it is a 20 min taxi ride from the center. The breakfast was a standard run ofthe mill buffet, but adequate. The rooms were small, but comfortable and clean.

The restaurant quality for dinner was extremely poor. I would strongly advise that you take a taxi into the center of town. The rooms were noisey and the airconditioner will blow cold air onto you all night as it is positioned right over the bed.

Nice and clean room, comfy bed. Buffet breakfast and dinner is a good option when you dont have any other restaurant nearby. The location is just only 5 mins walk to the bird park and the entrance of Iguazu waterfall( Brazil side).

The hotel is very close to the natural park by walking distance. This saved time which every moment is important in iguazu especially if you are there only for the weekend. Another good thing was the tour organization in the hotel which they helped us to arrange our day in Argentina which made our trip very easy as we dont speak neither portugese or spanish.

We definitely didnt like the attitude of the majority of the staff. They are not friendly. The main problem is except 1-2 employees, even the receptionists cant communicate in english which we thought is very silly considering the hotel is located in a very touristic area. We had a big insect in the room but as we were in a natural park dont complain about it. The breakfast was not good without any hot dishes.

Location of hotel was good - close to entrance of the Iguacu national park. Nice situated in the forest like surroundings. Really a great frame to discover the fantastic Iguazu falls and close to the Airport too. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Felt the restaurant in the hotel was a bit boring and not a full fit with the very nice hotel.

Location. Room size. Shower. Buffet dinner with wine was good and reasonably priced.

Bar service. Waiters need better training. They could also learn a few basic words in English. Service was slow, and the drinks were incorrectly made.

The pool was good, the rooms were nice and modern (though a little small), the service at the pool and in the bar was very good and the bar food was reasonable. The hotel looks well maintained. The location is great if you want to visit the falls on the Brazilian side, and the bird park. The garden is well kept and the surroundings are nice. It is a good place to relax by the pool.

The service at the reception was very guest-unfriendly and the food (especially in the restaurant) was rather bad. The restaurant is depressing, which is reflected by the staff. They also forgot about us when we checked in (early, but according to their website they will try to accomodate you) and in the end gave us a standard room while we had booked a superior room. Only after comlaining they upgraded us. When checking out the reception could not be bothered to call a taxi but gave us a number to call ourselves. Alternatively we could stand in line at the concierge - while the three people at the reception did not have anything to do. The management clearly invests more in the premises than in the staff and in the service/guests.

It's a great, great place. Lots of towels in the comfortable, clean rooms. Rich buffet in the evening. 5 minutes walking distance to the national park and the bird park.

Management. We asked for a late check-out (with pay) but were told that there was a group coming and the room had to be emptied. An hour later we asked for it again, this time "emphasising" that we will pay for it and they let us. In the first place, they could have just said we could have a late check out if we pay. Which was what we were planning to anyway. The tables on the cafe have cards on them saying "only for paid customers" or so. This is like saying, "Don't sit here if you won't eat or drink anything." In the end we were asked if we had taken towels or bathrobes from the room. What a lovely way to see your guests off. The place itself is so beautiful it's a shame it's run this way.

Hotel is old, hotel stuff are not very friendly and they couldn't care less if you have a problem or not. The breakfast is poorly and I do not recommend you to eat in the restaurant either. No wi-fi in the rooms and very slow in the reception area. During our dinner we went in the garden to smoke and told the restaurant stuff 3 times that we were coming back right away. When we came back 5 minutes later, they cleared our table with our drinks and put other people in our table. When we complained they refused to even give back the drinks they took away.

The position of hotel was excellent for visiting the falls and is v close to the airport. The pool and extensive hotel grounds are beautiful and ideal for children to enjoy. Rooms clean and modern, buffet breakfast very good and open 6-10am.

You needed to carry card id as we'll as your key to use any facilities. I forgot mine for meal at pool and I was woken at 22.30hrs by a waiter wanting to see my card!

This place looks ok until you scratch the surface slightly, exposing what a budget option it is. The location, just by the entry to the Brazilian side of the falls, is good. (The Argentinian side of the falls is FAR more spectacular, though, and must on no accounts be missed). It is also very close to Foz airport and the local buses from the airport can take you here direct

The food here is terrible. Terrible.... It makes you realise how far catering has come in Europe over the past 25 years. If you stay here, you must eat in Foz itself, which is about half an hour away. Cheap and easy by bus, moderate cost by taxi. Be prepared for raucous families around the pool from dawn to dusk. The staff had promised us a courtesy lift to the airport, but when it came to arranging it were surprisingly obstructive. The girl organising the tours gave the impression of not caring at all about her work.
