Overall a fantastic hostel, we stayed in the double room with private bathroom which was basic, as you'd expect in a hostel, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff were all friendly (especially the laughing breakfast lady!), very helpful and informative about what to do in Rio. One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Our double room wasn't cheap, but that's Rio for you! We could have stayed in a budget hotel for the same price, but I'm sure we wouldn't have had nearly such a good time. The jam at breakfast wasn't great, but I'm being picky now!

Bem tranquilo, com boas instalações, funcionários bem atenciosos e simpáticos. Café da manhã simples e suficiente. Ótimo pra casal que quer um lugar simples e aconchegante com custo x beneficio e localização. Um detalhe importante é que tem as bikes do Itau bem próximo! O único ponto foi o computador e a internet. Mas nao atrapalhou em nada!

É uma opção barata (para os padrões do Rio de Janeiro). Como a motivo de nossa viagem foi para fazer o visto americano, a localização dessa pousada é perfeita - pois fica bem em frente ao CASV. Mesmo sendo uma pousada, poderia ter TV nos quartos duplos.

Gostamos muito do local, ficou muito fácil para nós, pois precisávamos ir no CASV tirar o visto americano e o hostel fica na frente!!! Além de ter bike rio na frente para dar uma passeada na lagoa até as praias de Ipanema e Leblon. O transito na frente é intenso e o barulho durante o dia é forte!!

El desayuno es bueno, tiene una sala de estar con comutador y tv. el dormitorio muy oscuro al final de un pasillo, la calle se oye todo el día. Muy expuesto a una avenida principal.

A equipe muito gente boa, local limpo, além das pessoas que estiveram hospedadas muito gente fina. Apesar de ser um local simples, é aconchegante e arrumado.

Albergue bem localizado, atendentes muito simpáticos e prestativos, café da manhã bom, quartos e demais dependências satisfatoriamente confortáveis. A limpeza e organização dos quartos, por vezes, deixou a desejar. Nada, entretanto, que viesse a incomodar demais. O café da manhã é bastante farto, mas sugiro pequenas mudanças diárias (ex: sabor do suco) para não se tornar enjoativo. Sugiro também a realização de atividades mais jovens com o intuito de entrosar os hóspedes (na sua maioria viajantes solitários) e apresentar a cidade. Apesar disso, ficaria de novo no Lagoa Guest House e recomendaria a meus amigos.
