Majestic Palace Hotel  

The location is perfect. The hotel is luxury

The hotel facilities was great. It has great views of the sea. Beira Mar shopping is right next door. The front desk was really helpful. We arrived early and the room was not ready and they told us it would be ready by noon, but actually called us at 11 and told us it was ready. Also, we asked for a smoking room and the first room they allocated was not very good (it had no outlet for the smoke, so the whole room was smelling). They immediately changed it and gave us a much improved room. Overall it was a great experience.

It is a little far from the beaches in the north and south. It costs about 120brl each to and fro to Joaquina Beach and Jurere Internacional, which were the 2 beaches we visited.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is superb. The facilities are excellent.

The internet was unusable for a period of 3-4 days during my stay. No on site gym.

I liked the location

The hotel have a transport service that is not fair, they caugth more money than the convencinal transport, taxi. The hotel caugth 100% percent in crease.

Good central location but if you want to go to the beach you have a long drive. Hotel looks fairly impressive, and the pool has great views however it is very wind as there is limited shelter from the wind. Beds are very big and comfortable.

The walls are very thin; you can hear other guests in the next room through them. Limited lifts in the hotel so one can wait a fairly long time to use one. The breakfast room, although fairly big, it isn’t adequate for a hotel of this size as we frequently had to wait for a table or were resigned to sharing with strangers. Overall disappointing for the price.

Good location, central to the city shops, restaurants and promenade along seafront. Partial sea view. Reception staff friendly and welcoming. Rooms were functional and comfortable.

Impersonal and limited hotel facilities. Restaurant was uncomfortably cold due to excessive air conditioning. Breakfast can best be described as a mad frenzy; feeding time at the zoo is better organised! Expensive for what it is.

Excellent value for money. Very good conditions and very good rooms. Very helpful and kind staff. Good localization. Perhaps the best hotel in Florianopolis

A SPA and Fitness are announced but they are in the hotel. An empty room sends us to the shopping center.

The view, location, rooms

I had a reservation on a economic tarif, the rooms at this tarifs were not good. With a awful view most of them. When I ask to change the room they asigned me another even worse. I had to paid more of the tarif that I found on the internet for having an "aceptable" veiw from the side of the hotel.

Breakfast, Hotel staff, cleaness and location were excellent !

The water pressure out of the shower heads in incredible. You will never see anything like it in the States. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the bay and the running and biking paths that the Florpia natives seem to fully utilize. Staff was helpful and a fair amount spoke English as we knew almost no Portuguese. Location was right next to the mall which was nice.

There are only two accessible power outlets in the whole Executive room!! For a room that is one of the most expensive in Florpia you would think that in this day and age there would be more available outlets. One outlet was above the bedside table which was good, but the only other one outlet was in the bathroom under the light switch and not even on the sink fixture. Very strange in the 21st century considering I had 5 items that needed charging. Also there is no alarm clock in any of the rooms. Very very strange, especially for the price of the room. Even a Days Inn and Red Roof Inn in the U.S. provides a alarm clock. I was in an Executive room but my co-worker was in a standard room. Very small room. Bed took up pretty much all of the space in that room and he said that he even had to get a portable heater because he could not get the room above 62 degrees. Only one garbage bin in the whole executive room and it was placed in the bathroom. I read about this before booking the room and figured I would not think much about it. But once in the room it really was an inconvenience to have to go into the bathroom every time I wanted to throw something away. Could definitely hear the road from my room. It was not that bad and I am used to sleeping next to a busy road anyhow. It actually helps me sleep. The road dies down late at night and by early morning hours there is almost no traffic however. Didn't seem like there were any authentic Brazilian restaurants in the area. Very disappointed in our food options around the hotel. One hot tub was closed and the other one was only half full. The pool was NOT heated, that is for sure. Too bad to, because the infinity pool has a great view from the upper level looking over the bay. Would have loved to chill down there and have some beers. Walls are a bit thin. Can sometimes hear people walking, talking and their T.V.s.

Good location, right besides the sea, friendly staff.

This is defenitely not a 5 star hotel. Cleanliness was just fair, shower didn`t work properly and average size room. That could be classified much more like a 3 stars hotel than a 5 stars

Excellent services, wonderful staff, comfort, and proximity to every thing. This is a beautiful and welcoming hotel. Every thing is nice in this hotel. Its staff, especially at the reception, Bar, and restaurant, is not only professional but also friendly. I will be staying in Majestic Palace every time I happen to go to Floripa; this is your hotel if you need comfort and happiness.

i enjoyed my stay. I was happy because the staff spoke english very well. the bell boys were always helpful to get me a taxi. the breakfast and view was fantastic. I hope I can return again.

Gostei muito de tudo, café da manhã, localização maravilhosa, quartos bastante confortaveis e Staff bem atenciosos. Valeu demais o custo- beneficio. Voltarei sempre a este hotel quando retornar a Florianopolis.

Falta informação para os motoristas sobre o acesso a chegada ao hotel.

A estrutura do hotel, os quartos, a piscina muito bonita e limpa, a arrumação do quarto qualquer hora do dia, café da manhã bem variado e serviço dos garçons, localização, vista do café

As recepcionistas podiam ser mais atentas (marcaram que eu ia usar o estacionamento, mas eu nem fui de carro), não sabem dar informações turísticas nem dar dicas sobre alguns estabelecimentos próximos, e o restaurante no café poderia disponibilizar plaquinhas de "reservado" pra ninguém sentar por engano na mesa de alguém que levantou apenas para se servir.

Como sempre, ótimo! Quarto completo (Wifi, TV a cabo, ótimo banho, boa cama), café da manhã com vários itens e qualidade, equipe da recepção sempre prestativa. Parabéns!

A localização é perfeita, com fácil acesso a todos os cantos da ilha. Os funcionários são muito educados e eficientes.
