A number of reviews praised the location; it is close to downtown, but on a very dodgy street. We were dismayed to arrive and discover the parking structure was under construction, as was the pool, two amenities that had been listed as available when we booked several months before (Campina Grande was a stop on a long drive North). We were forced to park on the street, initially in an unlit spot next to two people who were picking through the garbage, though they made an effort to help us secure a safer spot once one was available. We were worried enough about the parking and the neighbourhood that we didn't leave the hotel that evening, despite there being nothing to do. The pool, which had been one of the reasons we selected this hotel, was also under construction. If you want anything more than a bed to sleep in, avoid this place until their work is done.
Room was very basic -- bathroom had a cheap plastic sliding door rather than a "normal door".
Courteous staff helped us where they could, from the doorman who made efforts to help us sort out the parking disaster to the attendant who printed some important documents for us. Seems to mainly cater to low-budget working travelers.
Passable restaurant, breakfast and dinner were alright.
