Everything was amazing! I liked it so much!
There is no Wine Opener at the room.
Room was lovely.
Bit high up for someone with vertigo!
Quartos amplos e confortaveis
location breakfast staff
hot water difficult to mainatin the good temperature
Located in chic Savassi area, the hotel had the best rate for a 3-bed room. Good breakfast and swimming pool facilities.
However, the hotel needs some upgrading as it seems to be outdated. Improvement should be made as well during check-in which is a bit too slow.
I love the breakfast offered!! that was probably the best. the hotel was overall nice and clean. however once you step outside it smells like urine, they could hose the sidewalk. this hotel is perfect for small families since it offers sofa bed for 2 more
i didnt like the 5oz bottle of water for 5 reals or any other beverage available at the frigobar. avoid room servic, food was flat.
I like the hotel room organization.
Wi-fi service. Elevator was to slow.
Location, close to everything
No english speakers in the staff.
Location was probably the highlight, you don't have to walk far to be in the mix of bars, restaurants, shops etc. Savassi is where the main nightlife is so it was ideal in that sense. I only stayed for one night as I was there to see one world cup match. I do wish I could have had one or two extra days to explore Belo Horizonte though. The hotel has all the necessary things you'd expect from a hotel and the room was decent enough with a good shower. The cost was elevated due to the World Cup being on, so it was quite expensive in comparison to other alternatives.
Wifi was a bit temperamental.
I was there for the world cup..location location..was great . Good food and beer . Modern . Great views had a balcony
Close to the Savassi - good nightlife district, great facilities.
Staff seemed cold and unfriendly. Didn't know where much in the city was apart from the obvious tourist haunts.
Food Bads The área The gym I was in 21 floor the view is cool
We stayed here during the World Cup, so the hotel was very busy but the staff were very friendly. the room was spacious and ideal for our stay. There was a good selection for breakfast.
The apartment had a sofa bed in the lounge which was laid out as a bed but was not required, so this took up unnecessary space.
Staff at reception couldn't speak English
Great location in the middle of Savassi, rooms are large and clean
Can hear noise from the street
Great location. Nice to have an apartment with separate bedroom rather than the usual twin room.
Very slow lifts! With around 20 floors in the building there is a lot of demand for the lifts but there are only two of them. I often spent many minutes waiting.
The hotel is next to the biggest street party area in Belo Horizonte so get ready for some loud music and
Because of its proximity to the Praca Savassi it is very loud at night, so if you aren't planning to take part in the festivities, then you may be kept up at night.
location, convenience, cleanliness and friendly staff
Rooms a bit old, no coffee maker in the room and noisy surroundings in the night
Great location close to bars; spacious apartment with living room, separate bedroom ensuite and half bathroom
Outdated furnishings and missing cleaning details (mildewy bathroom corners, etc).
My wife is a Mineira and we regularly visit BH. Despite its age, the Max is among the best hotels in BH. The staff and service are excellent. The location is great and the apartments are among the best in BH. A great Hotel.
I have been visiting or living in Brazil frequently for the past 48 years. The complaints are not about the Max specifically, but about the hotel/restaurant culture in Brazil. 1. A hotel at the level of the MAX shouldn't still be capitalizing on foreigners fear of water (potable in BH with a filter). Instead of the annoying charge of 3 or 4 reais for a minuscule bottle of water in the Frigobar, why not differentiate from the market and charge a few more reais for the room and either put filters in the rooms, or sell water in the hotel at market price (1.5-2 reais per 1.5 liter). Most guests go out and buy water at the nearby Araujo pharmacy in any case. 2. The Max should differentiate itself from 99.9% of the restaurants in Brazil and provide real full size napkins at the tables.
Quarto espaçoso e com ante-sala.
The breakfast, the location, the staff ,the price
The fitness room very small, the lift always full
Breakfast Space of room. Excelent
