It was very very expensive during the World Cup. 3 times so expensive than at other seasons.
we paid lot of money for 7 days and never stay
Paid 300 Reals during World Cup time. Rip off.
pretty much nothing ....
Horrible! The staff wasn't so nice, and don't understand a word in English. The first room we got was SO unclean. the sheets had stains. the bathroom was a 1 square meter (including the toilets), and with no separation between the shower and the toilets. We asked for another room, which was slightly better, but has a bad smell. The location in at the street where all the parties are, which can be nice, unless you want to sleep. we had noise until 6:30 am. in the morning, the street was full of drunks, homeless's, and prostitutes. breakfast was so bad, we decided to eat outside. Wifi is free, but works for 2 seconds in an hour. overall, the worst "hotel" we have been to.
The night staff was very friendly
Day staff was terrible. I had a personal belonging taken out of my room and they kept denying it was impossible for someone to go in my room and offered no soluti
Nothing. This place is like a prison.
Everything. Prison would actually be nicer.
Very little to like. The only thing to be said in its favour is that it was fairly clean.
Almost everything. The big problem is that it markets and prices itself as a hotel instead of a backpackers' hostel. The rooms are shabby, the furniture old and grotty and you are exposed to the noise and food smells from the neighbouring bars and restaurants. And unlike many cheap and cheerful hostel-type places, it has no atmosphere whatsoever. Good for stag trips maybe, bad for everything else.
room - bare - nowhere to put clothes; toilet broken; air conditioning could not be adjusted; very noisy - from outside bars and clubs; street in morning was filthy and very smelly - so many open bars spilling into street; cost was over double in other cities; ripped off in a big way
The price is overrated for the size and faciltiy
Room extremely basic; Wi-Fi did not work; location; extremely noisy; night clubs on each side of hotel; cost - room was a cupboard and double the price I paid for an apartment in Sao Paulo; ripped off
It was a really bad experience.
No hot water, no housekeeping in rooms,8 days-no clean towels, aircon noisy and inefficient, wooden slated windows did not close completely, rooms tiny,no wardrobes or hangers or shelf space,on a noisy street.
The location is pretty good when you are looking for a place to enjoy nightlife.
The breakfast was boring always the same sweet stuff. The staff can only speak portugese and communication in general was pretty hard. No transfer from airport. Wifi always disconnects after a few seconds. Nothing to recommend for longer stays.
Hotel ruim. Condiz com o preço.
Limpeza, localização, wi-fi, frequentadores.
Situated in a very lively neighborhoud. You just have to walk the door and you're in the middle of Rio's nighlife
Very noisy during week-ends, you'd better like live samba since you'll hear it from your room during most of the night
The location was perfect, that's it.
Basically everything else
Thiny, ugly rooms (nothing like the pictures), staff didn't speak english (eaven a word) and they were unfriendly. There werent safetyboxes and the staff had been in our room and gone through our stuff, luckily we didn't have anything fort steeling in the room. We couldent eaven solve it whit the staff because their languageberrier. So we do not recomend this hotel to anyone!!
Right in the downtown area Lapa in Centro. There are actually not so many tourist attractions in this part of the city except for some bars with very nice girls. Very low room price. It is allowed to bring a new female guest into the room.
The staff could only speak Portuguese. Many rooms without windows. It should have been free breakfast but I was not offered any at the hotel. If you want a good view from a hotel go for a hotel near the beaches instead.
I was only given a single bed despite paying for a double I did not feel I or my belongings were particularly safe - Door onto the balcony did not lock properly, keys for front door had to be handed in at reception.
In the center of Lapa.
Breakfast is included but it's only two peaces of bread and some coffee. Staff doesn't speak any English.
Budget friendly place.
There were no English speaking staff.
