Sunset from the swimming pool, location, pool restaurant are very good
Room is a bit old, mold in the bathroom
Everything is just perfect.
A little bit far from the center.
The swimming pool is amazing! And, the sunsets from the swimming pool are spectacular. My room was clean, very spacious and well appointed. There was a minifridge/bar (I put my own food and drinks in it because the minibar prices were exorbitant. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom/shower was large and everything worked. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety everyday. Dinner in the restaurant was good, but expensive. The location is far from the city center and a $35 taxi ride, or a 30-min public bus ride. But, I was there for a conference at the neighboring Tropical Manaus resort, so it was perfect. The beach is next door and a short walk.
The fridge and AC were both noisy. I had trouble with the controls for the AC, and was either freezing or warm. One day I turned off the AC when I left, then when I got back the room was icy and the maid had taken the blanket off of my bed! I finally learned to turn off the AC at night other wise I woke up freezing.
The view of the Rio Negro from the swimming pool is very beautiful. The sunset from the pool is amazing too. Staff are very friendly and has good english. The hotel is new, the bedrooms are big and bed confortble.
There was no hot water in the shower 2 days out of 9.
The hotel is by the Negra River and only steps to a very nice beach. Service is excellent. We enjoyed it.
No wired internet;. Wifi is available but extremely slow. You can't do anything with it, not even checking your emails.
I had wi-fi in my room. The breakfast was included in the price of the room, and the breakfast buffet was extensive--a very good value. The Park Suites hotel is very close to the Tropical Hotel. We booked our Meeting of the Waters Tour and our City Tour at Fontur located in the lobby of the Tropical Hotel.
Some of my friends didn't have wi-fi in their rooms.
Exceptional view on Rio Negro, close to airport, swimming pool or Rio Negro swim, good breakfast with lot of fruits, silence
There is nothing to comment...average...
Air conditioner of room is very noisy and some wall infiltration.
Location is great - near airport and beautiful view
Once I got there - at 1am - they put me in a room that was not cleaned. I called, complained and they switched rooms, to a room that was cleaned but the a/c was not working - this is Manaus....90 degree weather in the shade!!! But I was so tired, I just felt asleep. The next morning, I went to get breaksfast at 9:15am (breakfast ends at 10) there was almost no option left, all trays were empty and not replaced. I got a water and went to the lobby, one of the attendants ran after me saying I could not take the water....what!?!? I will not go there again.
Large room and comfortable size bathroom. Beautiful pool.
Food wasn't good for breakfast or room service. Also ordered cocktails at the bar in the foyer, had a sip and had to leave them behind they were so terrible. Could be a little cleaner and better maintenance if they want to consider themselves as 5 star.
River sight, bath room, wifi, location, breakfast, fitting room, visitor tour agency
nearest shopping mall/supermarket is too far from the hotel; room card disable everyday and need re-activation
Nice pool, good spot to pick up a bunch of tours (the nearby Tropica Hotel has a big tour company that you can use).
the location in relation to downtown Manaus is poor. It can take ~1 hour to get there in a cab (the only real way) and cost too much. If you want to see the downtown area, i'd not stay here.
Excellent views, especially from the pool which was reasonably large and quite clean. Good breakfast with lots of food choices. Staff was quite helpful although their English was not great.
The pool is good but there was about 3 broken lounges for quite a few people! Internet ok
Staff aren't friendly. The restaurant food is so so. Not much food choice. The shower area was mouldy. Aircon barely worked. It's more of a two star hotel than a 4.
Good staff and helpful, excellent views over Amazon river Would come again Staff accommodated request for early packed breakfast for an early flight ( other passengers on TAM airlines very jealous) albeit with having to sign disclaimer for keeping this in our room fridge overnight - oh we love the Brazilian love for forms !!
The trips to the Amazon from trip shop in foyer were a bit misleading - just enquire critically to ensure you get what you need/ want - if you want to see the meeting of the waters - go on a big boat
Location along the river is very nice, next to the Ponta Negra beach. The view from top floor restaurant was good as was the food (though pricey).
We paid a lot for suites during the World Cup and the value for the money was poor. The restaurant on the first floor was not very good.
The breakfast is good and the pool. The suits is okay.
Their is no air condition in the elevator, smell food in the hall of the rooms and air condition in the room is very noise.
Pool was good, views wonderful at sunset, room spacy and modern
The choices of restaurants nearby is low
* Personal very friendly * Rooms spacious * Great view over the river
* No shuttle to Inner City or Airport or shopping centre, taxi transport is real expense factor * Bar opening times * need some renovation from outside - you see the age
Staff kindness, facilities.
Manaus is expensive in general (hotel services included). Transport in particular, too expensive. Don't plan to visit again in near future.
Fantastic views from upper floors. We had an issue with our room and the staff were quick to correct it which was good.
Decor looking a little tired so doesn't quite reflect top end status.
cleanless terrible restaurant/ food
The view was awesome. The infinity pool was really nice. The staff were always willing to assist. Very close to the airport and the river beach.
Our room was not facing the river. I had to upgrade at additional cost. The bathrooms were not clean at all. Even when we upgraded to a business suite... It had a jacuzzi but black with mildew....
We had an enjoyable stay the pool is good
Everything. Staff was very helpfull, rooms and bath very clean, although a bit skimpy on the towels side but the poolside facilities are really beautiful.
Perhaps being too far away from downtown Manaus, but that same fact makes it desirable to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery. I did not like the bar area. Too open, too busy with people coming and going and too noisy
