I could not connect to the wi fi in any part of the building.
They charged me for 3 extra night because their staff didnt take the responsibilty of not checking my authorization form, they still have my money and dont reply on emails or calls.
The waiting time for the lift is little more then normal.
- clean and excellent service - good location Overral it is an excellent choice in Sao Paulo and would go back to this hotel next time.
Everything was outstanding: the room (clean, light, with all the basics, card-entry, minibar, writing materials, comfortable bed, good TV); nice dining facilities, with an attractive area also suitable for an evening meal; nice bar, so you could while away time there if you wanted to; excellent selection of food for breakfast; and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful (e.g. lending me an iPad on occasion when my smartphone wasn't working). And they spoke English, which made life easier for me as well as for other non-Portuguese speakers. For me, the Pergamon was the complete package and I'd definitely stay there again.
English Speaking and very close to main party stipe
The worst wifi service ever experienced in a hotel
Staff could speak good English Hotel is Modern Very clean & spacious
The staff was helpful at all times. Were stayed at the Pergamon while attending the World Cup and enjoyed our stay. The location was close to shopping and several major attractions. We were able to walk to the MASP (museum of Art - and the Futbol Museum - although that was a bit father).
Good breakfast, restaurant was good in general. I was able to check in early (for an additional cost) after a long international flight. Friendly staff.
Room was small but fine for a solo traveler.
The staff were all helpfully and made us feel very welcome, the room was clean and finished well. The restaurant and bar area was a nice place to relax and unwind
Very clean, great facilities
About a mile walk to the metro. Staff were a bit pedantic ("cannot give you wifi access until you check in, but we dont have a room ready yet, so you cant check in"). Also, expensive!
Breakfast Attention of Staff Cleanliness
Wifi Connection works Horrible.. they give you an user and a Password, and the connection is poor, and when you ar disconected, always have to put the User and password again and again.. and, doesn'´t work in all the room, just in some places..
The stuff was very helpful and kind. They all speaks English which is rare in Brazil. Pictures on the web (everything looks much nicer than it’s really is). Only the lobby is really nice.
Rooms are old, the bathroom is small, neighborhood is not very nice but it’s close to Paulista and Republica.
explain that you need to insert room key for power
Staff and accommodation. Breakfast was delicious
Really enjoyed the stay and breakfast was good. Lovely city view from room window.
It was clean and modern.
location, front desk and restaurant docoration.
Old roons, bathroons specially. It´s very noise and not so clean either
the staff is friendly. the hotel is well situated. the breakfast is tasty.
the rooms are always dirty. the staff don't speak any other language but Portuguese. only one or two do and very poorly. the wifi connection is very poor in the rooms.
Travelled to Sao Paolo for business and enjoyed my stay at Pergamon. Everything smooth. Nice spaceous room, nice breakfast and small but well equipped gym in the basement. I'd stay there again.
Nothing to complain about.
I want to make a direct compliment to hostess Sheila. She was always very kind and efficient. Give her a raise. The hotel is small but very professional and you can see they take the work very seriously. The bar was good, room service not so expensive. I got a cheap room, so was close to the elevator, which made it a bit noisy, but nothing that would keep me from sleeping. If you're aiming for a five star, you should think of doing one small change - but the volume for the elevator signal down (so the person on the room facing the elevator wont listen the blip)
Wireless network did not work in our bedroom. The TV set did not have an option to watch the channels with original audio (most channels are dubbed in portuguese)
great area to explore bella vista and close to most happening areas
