Pestana Convento do Carmo  

Ik heb zelden zo een mooi kloopster meegemaakt. Werkelijk viel ik van de ene in de andere verbazing. Het personeel was uitstekend, behulpzaam en uiterst vriendelijk; grote klasse! De kamer op nr. 305 is een absolute aanrader, zoiets heb ik nog nooit gezien. Werkelijk de top. Zwembad, sauna, s'avond levende muziek; bij hetdiner klassieke begekeiding, gitaar en cello. Het ontbijt was en is overweldigend; het ontbrak aan niets, zelfs de allerbeste champagne wordt geschonken. Twee maal per dag werd mijn kamer opgeruimd en verschoond. Zelfs voor het slapen gaan, werd mijn bed klaar gemaakt voor de nacht. Vanaf de avond tot de morgen politie bewaking voor de ingang van het klooster, hotel. In een wordt een absolute aanrader. Zo een hotel en een service vergeet je nooit meer. Graag gedaan en overnacht in klooster, museum, hotel Convento do Carmo in Salvador. Ga wel met een taxi er naar toe. Very good location. The hotel build in an ancinet convent is simply beautifull with a nice reading room and patio (with swimming pool). We liked the restaurant (which is very practical if you arrive late at the hotel in the evening). We had a very nice and large room with a big bed. We liked our stay there. A place in Salavador where to come back again.

Breakfast is not at the level of this hotel. Security around the holtel remain an issue for tourist that would like to get out free and walk at any time.

The location is good. The design of the hotel, old monastry is very beautiful. Service at the bar is excellent and the chairs at the pool are very comfortable.

The rooms, even though very luxurious, are quite dusty. It would not harm to do some vacuum cleaning. The spa/sauna is not good. It does not work well and is not cleaned very well.

Wonderful facilities in the Pelourinho district of Salvador

Serving staff quite familiar but even when low workload they seemed very slow. Location in Pelourinho and transport situation - very difficult neighbourhood. For your own safety need to take a taxi from hotel front door - those that apply the hotel rate are premium rates compared to ordinary taxis called by telephone. Given the thick walls of the convent the mobile telephone network is difficult to get any coverage!

The hotel is beautiful, the buildings and decor are very tasteful. Also liked the bar and pool area. Beds have great linen

The staff were not always great, in fact some of the female waitstaff at the bar and breakfast were borderline surly and rude. I also think the food is over-priced. I asked for extra sliced tomatoes and they wanted to charge me R$11.00 which I found to be ridiculous.

O atendimento foi bom e o clima do local eh encantador.

Escolhi o Convento para me arrumar para meu casamento e avisei ao hotel. Eles não informaram q a corrente era 220v ( em Salvador tudo eh 110v), a iluminação do quarto eh ruim para maquiagem. Os profissionais tiveram q se desbobrar! Tinha algo de manha que ficava dando uma pancada na parade, parecia o elevador.

Un 5 stelle di cui due regalate,piscina sporca e posizione infelice.

Um lugar histórico, muito bem restaurado, onde foram adicionadas comodidades modernas sem afetar a proposta; restaurante ótimo, café da manhã de primeira, sem frescuras ou excessos. Clima intimista e relaxante, com seleção musical muito bem pensada, área de convívio e quarto bem decorados e muito bem cuidados. Os funcionários são prestativos, simpáticos e discretos, tornando a estadia bem agradável e relaxante. A localização é única, a alguns passos dos lugares históricos mais bonitos do centro. Parabéns ao grupo Pestana/Pousadas de Portugal! Voltarei em breve.

Não chegou a atrapalhar, mas eu sugiro que a não aceitação de crianças seria perfeita

El edificio es maravilloso.

Para ser un hotel de 5 estrellas gran lujo y un precio tan alto , carece de un servicio a ese nivel, carece de un restaurante a ese nivel tambien. El nivel de decoracion , mantenimiento del mobiliario, tapicerias es bastante precario. La limpieza es escasa. Los aseos de la planta bar-recepcion, olian de espanto.El gimnasio pequeño y viejo.Las toallas de la piscina pequeñas , de mala calidad y viejas. Tampoco merecedoras de un 5 estrellas gran lujo. El personal del bar es antipatico, poco amistoso, y muy lento. El personal de recepcion fue amable y atento , especialmente Cristina. Por ese precio te puedes alojar en el Ritz en Madrid o en el Grand Hotel en Paris.

Hotel tipo Parador. Muy bien rehabilitado. Agradable piscina, bar, habitaciones.

Personal de recepcion no a la altura del hotel. Cuidado carteristas en la cuesta de subida al hotel, de noche ir preferiblemente en taxi.
