Very disappointed with the standard of this hotel. I would class it as a 3 star. Rooms were dirty towels were extremely thread bern. Toiletries low quality. Swimming pool dirty. Bed was uncomfortable. Shower wasn't cleaned properly. Coffee for breakfast was the worst I've ever had in my life. Walls dirty paint coming off walls. Was informed hotel would be refurbished in April this year. Pity there had been no appearance of maintenance in years. Elevators were not swirling properly. People off the street were using pool constantly. I was afraid to remove my shoes and put my feet on the carpet it was in such a bad state. Dinner was average. Room service was ok but on the whole I heard people complaining constantly at reception. Prostitution rife. Reception tried to trick me into a lower category room Would never recommend this hotel to anyone John Owens

Friendly and helpful staff. Worth every penny you pay for it. Wonderful view of Sugar Loaf and Copacabana Beach.

I like the staff as they are welcome, mainly at the restaurant for breakfast. Actually my bedroom was not clean enough! I had a lot of flea bites as my bed was completely crowed of it during the night I was bitten. I asked the reception to clean my bedroom, they sent a cleaner, she just swaped the sheets and they have insisted on the fact my flea bites were an allergie to the food. They didn't even put me in another bedroom or changed my bed to another one. Aslo, ants in the bathroom in the sink. I mean you do not expect from a 5 stars to share your bed with fleas. If they put an effort to clean the bedrooms (someone must check it as well) your journey could be good as the hotel have nice facilities like gym and swimming pool

Good location, right on Copacabana beach and a short walk to Ipanema. Far too expensive for a hotel in this state, for over $600 per night you would expect top end but I have stayed on Copacabana for less than half that price with far more luxury. We booked a superior double only to find we had a twin room which had nothing 'superior' about it in the sense you would expect. The room was very old, dirty and didnt match with the described facilities -The TV had a remote control from a different model and so we had to manually change channels and volume. No Ipod docking station, no radio, very small balcony (slim, standing room for one only) with a very limited view of the sea. All of the hotel is being renovated, the lobby is nice but the rest is pretty awful, forget relaxing by the pool as the builders are up there. We complained and got nowhere, the reception staff weren't interested in what we were saying. When we told them we booked a double and not a twin they basically said tough luck and converted the bed to a double - which meant a big seam in the middle of the bed where the join is - not comfortable This hotel is worth $125 per night, not $600 - ruined our honeymoon weekend! Be warned!

Restaurante com boa qualidade de refeições O hotel está superantiquado! Não merece de todo o estatuto de 5 estrelas. Suponho que de 3 estrelas ou menos dado que eu nunca tinha ficado num hotel tão mau! Paguei uma suite e deram-me uma arrecadaçâo, mobilada com mobília com bicho! Tive de reclamar e no dia seguinte mudámos para uma suite mais razoável mas longe de 5 estrelas! De qualquer modo eles já perceberam isso e estão a remodelar já os andares superiores. Agora entretanto...não podem cobrar valor de hotel de 5 estrelas por de 3 ou menos estrelas. é um roubo! E engana quem quer ficar bem instalado como nós! O "serviço" em si é mau também. Pedi espuma para banho e a empregada respondeu que só me dava um e que dava para dois dias! Numa suite! Nunca me tinha acontecido! E só havia uns chinelos e um robe para duas pessoas também! Enfim, não tem serviço de 5 estrelas de todo! E esperei quase 3 horas para me darem a suite. Sabendo que eu estava à espera não deram prioridade no arranjo do quarto, que supostamente deveria ter entrada às 14h. Sabiam que eu cheguei às 12h e mesmo assim só me deram o quarto às 15h!!!Achei mesmo muito fraco todo o serviço. Mas havia pessoal simpático sim também! Enfim...espero que rapidamente eles melhorem pois eu tinha boa opinião do Grupo e por isso escolhi este hotel.

Para um hotel 5 estrelas nao havia nada de surpreendente As acomodacoes sao antigas, o serviços sao muito ineficientes, para se ter ideia o front desk conta com apenas dois funcionarios o que causa fila no check inn e check out. A forma de tarifacao e muito ruim, no momento de pagar a conta o hotel informa que devem ser somados a diaria uma taxa de servico de 15% + impostos, apesar disso estar escrito no site da booking no momento da compra fica um tanto quanto oculto, isso causa uma surpresa desagradavel no momento do check out

Apenas a localização. Atendimento péssimo - nenhum funcionário tem vontade de agradar o turista. Site do booking não avisa que a piscina está fechada. Quem vai com crianças tem uma péssima surpresa.

Gostei do hotel como um todo, com funcionários atentos e muito bem treinados, muito gentis. O hotel também é muito confortável, com bom café da manhã. Poderiam haver mais cabides no roupeiro.

Embora a reserva tenha sido feita para um quarto com cama de casal, a mesma não foi disponibilizada. Havia, ademais, problema com o ar- condicionado, o qual forçou mudança de quarto.

O atendimento é bastante atencioso e prestativo, tornando a estada agradável e cobrindo desejos/necessidades. Localização bastante interessante para o evento de queima de fogos na virada de ano em Copacabana. Arredores seguro e agradável. Apesar da atenção do serviço a demora, em muitos casos, se dá pelo número aquém da necessidade. Preço um pouco alto, na relação custo- benefício, porém talvez pela data. As reformas,ainda não concluídas, atrapalham um pouco.

Localizacao, servico do cafe da manha, restaurante excelente. Vista para o mar, defronte Copacabana, e asorte de ter a presenca do sol todos os dias... Hotel em reformas, piscina na cobertura fechada. Quarto em que eu fiquei ainda nao havia sido reformado, estava razoavel.
