Staff people are very receptive and helpful
It is an old build, rooms and beds are not in a good condition
Staff are friendly and helpful. They always serve you in professional manner. Security is very good. Breakfast is decent. Wifi is easy and works well. Location is excellent - walking distance to shops and resturants, near to many touristic sites, including the tourist office where you can get the tourist bus.
Some problem communicating in English with the staff.
Poor facilities old hotel. Would consider this a one star. Had to leave after the first night.
Great location near bars, restaurants as well as the markets big, clean rooms and good hotel security
Bathrooms could use refurb but they were clean
Simple, clean, well located with helpful staff
Very expensive during world cup, poor value for money, very few amenities, old and dated decor
good location, nice view from the 10th floor where we had our room
poor english.speaking staff, unstable wifi connection, chlorine smell in the whole hotel, which was though kind of smudge, especially awfull was the breakfast room, where the clorine smell was the strongest and made the breakfast disgusting, we finally decided to have breakfast outside, staff tried to be helpful but they were kind of incapable (we almost missed our flight because of the traffic jam and no available taxi).
Basic and simple hotel. Adequate space for a single room, strong water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed, fast wifi
Excellent staff. They are courteous and professional. Next thing to home.
Quite location, very friendly helpful staff, good aircon, decent breakfast.
Spotty wifi, inconvenient electrical outlets, OK shower.
The rooms are very spacious and the hotel is very well located, near the old town.
The furniture is a little old fashion and the breakfast could be better.
We had a very spacious room with a kitchenette, and a table plus desk/bookshelf which was good as we were spending 2 weeks there. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good locatiion close to centre. Nice spread at breakfast.
Nowhere to relax downstairs, just a very small lobby area, but that didn't matter too much.
Some room items needed repair.
I liked the security of leaving the key at the front desk on exiting and returning. Also the front is always locked and opened only for guests. Liked the fan, window air conditioner, firm bed and kitchen. Store, restaurants, and bank in walking distance.
Some noise from the street at times.
Shower and location.
Carpet old and dirty. The walls also need to be repaired.
Best place to stay for anyone coming to Porto Alegre. Attentive staff. Clean rooms. Centrally located. And room rate very competitive. Each room has a small kitchen facility as well for those staying a bit longer
It is a clean, practical and simple hotel. Rooms are not cosy or homely but certainly comfortable and practical enough. Rooms in the book have no view but are quieter (except for the lower floors which get a bit of noise early morning during breakfast preparation) ... rooms in the front, specially on top, have the view and the horizon but perhaps a bit of noise from the street .... but which happens to be a quieter street in downtown Porto Alegre
Very good location, good price!
Staff is extremely friendly, rooms are a little bit old but the hotel is going through a renovation process.
