The "Cidade dos Romeiros" has a good offer of cafés and restaurants, but they tend to be crowded in the evening. Get there earlier for dinner to avoid queues. The Pizzeria there (Tutti santi) has a good range of italian food. The staff, though friendly, tend to be slow during peak times and waiting for being served afetr being sat can be a nuisance. The vantage point on the other side of the highway (acessible through ski-like cable cars) is a must, especially to see the sunset above the sanctuary and river.

The common areas and facilities were clean, as expected. Valet parking on the premises and luggage carts provided in the reception area made things very easy for us. Overall, a very nice experience. If we visit Aparecida again, we will definitely stay there.
