In a word: everything. The building and facilities, though under some renovation (with only mild disturbance), were clean, well-presented and well-maintained and incredibly charming and quaint. The location was fantastic, only a 3 minute walk to the main tourist area and with fantastic views of the same. I found the staff members to be professional yet warm, friendly and generous with their time and efforts to help make my first visit to Salvador (and Brasil) both enjoyable and memorable. In fact, staying at the Pousada felt more like being with close friends or family and I looked forward to going "home" every night. As well, when I return to Salvador soon, I will book a room with my new Pousada family. Water pressure in shower was not good (strong) and water was not very warm, which I like even when it's warm outside. |

I was really impressed by the kindness and efficency of the full staff. The pousada is great, with one of the best location for whom wants to discover the heart of Salvador (arquitecture, music, culture) with the closest possible view of the Pelourinho (historical centre). This place is like a fresh brise in a crowded place: such a peaceful place! The swimming pool (with view! Anything I could suggest is in fact already under construction: bigger reception area, with internet and cable TV. Cable TV in the rooms could be a good idea too. The news rooms (almost finished) are great, but the old ones are perfect too. |

Excellent location and quality of staff, very helpful and going out of their way to please guests. My son visited while we were there and he was treated like family! |

great breakfast, nice and clean rooms, nice pool, beautiful view over pelourinho, english speaking staff, transfer is provided by the hotel and is also required if you arrive late due to the safety of salvador. |

bien ubicado, a 2 calles del pelourinho, personal muy atento. el precio parece caro por la calidad de las habitaciones, aunque tiene una muy linda vista hacia la ciudad alta y piscina. |

la amabilidad del responsable el responsable del front desk era el único que podía resolver los problemas. No hay telefono en las habitaciones, ni espejos, ni secador de pelo. |

Vlak bij het oude historische centrum. Mooi zicht op dit centrum en je proeft de sfeer hiervan via de (luide) ritmische muziek. Veilige locatie omdat het hotel 's avonds afgesloten wordt. Nog niet alle kamers zijn gerenoveerd. |

Les conseils donnés par le personnel de la pousada sont très importants en ce qui concerne les consignes de sécurité à respecter à bahia, par exemple monter au Pelourinho par la petite ruelle en face de la rue de la pousada et pas une autre. Leur demander quand olodum fait des shows ect... |

Hotelshuttle vom Flughafen hat gut funktioniert. Das Hotel bietet ein gutes Frühstück in einem schönen Garten. Das Schwimmbad war sehr gut gepflegt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. |

Zentral gelegen und ruhig von Seite Stadt. Poolanlage klein aber nett und mit schöner Sicht auf einen Teil der Stadt. Man war sehr flexibel und hat uns um 04 Uhr Morgens eine kleines Frühstück bereitgestellt. Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut und das Hotel wird im Moment renoviert (Reception). Die Zimmer schmecken noch nach frischer Farbe. |
