This is a small boutique hotel located next to the Praça da Sé, a popular square in the heart of Pelourinho. Public transportation and the Elevator Lacerda are a short walk away.

Location is very good to visit the historic centre. Felt safe even in the evening walking back from the restaurants.
very close to the city center, in the evening music can be listened from the hotel, very clean, nice place free water and coffee
a bit dirty around this place
Very nice pousda, clean rooms and pool. Very nice and helpful staff at reception! They give a lot of information for tours, things to do/see etc.
Amazing personnel and breakfast, view from the location, don't forget to try their caipirinhas!
Beware of Marcos, he is one of the typical "tour guides" who try to rob any way they can the tourists. He is hanging around the hotel always.
Great location, helpful staff, good wifi connection, good breakfast, air con. I went there once, when I had to go back to Salvador a month later I choose them again!
Good position and view Nice breakfast Cleaning Swimming pool
Wifi connection very limited No possibility to have dinner in the hotel
Pool clean everywhere wlan good breakfast outside in the garden clean rooms nice and helpfull staff offers tours good shower
in the night you probably here everytimes drums and music - so take oropax with you ;)
Nice pool with view Staff were friendly and very helpful advising where to go, booking taxis etc We were given a free upgrade
Nothing really, location is very close to the historic area - it is just a short walk up a hill and you are in the centre
The view mentionned below. The good relation with the manager and his help to inform us on visits, guides and information on the city and out of it.
The slope of the access road when visiting the city on foot!
Ideal location at arms length from somewhat claustrophobic old city. Friendly staff.
Very nice hotel, new and well managed
WiFi could be better
Staff, service and rooms are great
The hill you had to climb to get to Pelourinho
Very nice place with extremely comfortable room.
Internet was very bad
Visited Salvador for the world cup. Only a ten minute walk to the stadium. Secure hotel, breakfast, pool, sun. Transfers to airport. Good shower. Comfortable bed.
Prices increased due to the world cup, but that was everywhere.
excellent location right next to old town/pelourhino. Small, simple and clean rooms. Friendly staff
Overpriced during the world cup
Rooms were too small. Staff member added an extra bed for third person and charged full fee, we couldn't move. Unfriendly staff member refused a visit from a very good friend, that was very embarrassing. Not enough food for breakfast, constantly running out of eggs.
Good location, where u want to be! Claudio was extremely helpful in every way & speaks good english.
changed money their, not a good rate i found out latter.
Very helpful Very close to Pelourinho Lovely place
Firts the great people at the reception. Friendly, competent, informative, funny:-) Great location for the historic center and a great view from the pool.
- courtesy and helpfulness of the staff; - safety and tranquility of the structure; - central location and close to pelourinho;
- lack of night bar
It was a nice place, clean and accommodating, with great staff. The rooms afforded a great view of the old part of the city. The caipirinhas were good and it was nice to have a drink on the patio by the pool at night.
It was extremely expensive because of the world cup – we paid 5-star prices for a 2-star hotel. The neighbourhood was just too sketchy. I don't mind a little rough but this was just too scary, so we couldn't walk into the old city. I wouldn't have minded as much if this was a deal of a hotel, but for what we paid it just wasn't worth it.
Front desk was very helpful.
Don't ever come to Salvador. Just don't. There are so many wonderful places in Brazil. If you really have to come here stay by the beach. We were robbed twice in the Pelourinho. You have to walk up a sketchy narrow ally just to get back to the hotel.
This is my first perfect 10 review. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful (especially Bertina and Claudio). They gave us a late checkout. Arranged a tour with an excellent English-speaking guide (ask for Ernesto). Excellent wi-fi. Good location on the edge of the old town.
Nothing to dislike.
Beatrix and Claudio helped us a lot. Silvia is pleasant! Good staff. Pool and view great.
We were in "the hole" under and next to the stairs. Had two rooms. Our "hole" was a storage space. No internet access inside our "hole room". Air in room bad.
Management was very helpful in providing local information and making arrangements for your tourist needs. Location was excellent for exploring the Pelourinho area. Just a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices. For my next visit to Salvador, this is where I will stay!
