Grandiose Aussicht im obersten Stockwerk, große Räume, farbenfroh. Es liegen viele interessante Bücher und Bildbändeaus über afrikanische Kultur in Bahia. Tolles Frühstück. Einige Mitarbeiter kennen sich mit Rechnungen nicht aus. Es gibt Ameisen. |

We stayed in the 'sister pousada' Des Arts which is located in the same street. A verry nice atmosphere, friendly personell and good breakfast. The owners check in regularly with their guests to make sure they are satisfied. The location for a visit to the historic old centre of Salvador is good and within walking distance with restaurants verry near. |

Eric and Rose (owners) were extremely hospitable, and offered good recommendations on local restaurants and activities. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious. It was hot and humid while we were there and it would have been nice to have air conditioning or a better ceiling fan. That being said, we knew that this pousada was decorated in a more traditional manner and didnt expect ac. If that´s important, you can stay at another Pousada that Eric and Rose own that they just opened down the street - Pousada Las Arts - which caters to a slightly more upscale traveller and has all the modern conveniences. |

Extremely helpful staff, lovely hotel, very cool, well located for historical centre, great views from terrace of room 9. Shower plumbing a little unreliable, the area in which the hotel's located is a bit rundown though very characterful. |

Entire staff very helpful in all aspects of our stay. Places to visit, maps etc. They showed us several rooms available for us to choose from. We ended with a room and veranda that had a full view of the bay and lower city...great! Be prepared to move up and down multiple flights of stairs...however it seems one is forever walking either up or down a steep hill in Salvador. |

Pousada typique bahianaise, petit déjeuner copieux sucré-salé très bon, personnel serviable. Pas de climatisation qui nous a manqué sous 30-35° la journée malgré le ventilateur. Un peu loin du centre, prendre absolument un taxi pour y aller. |

La proximité d'avec le centre historique de Salvador.L'accueil et la disponibilité des propriétaires, un couple franco-brésilien qui nous a aimablement aidé à préparer les excursions dans les environs de Salvador. L'hôtel est maintenant composé de deux établissements voisins d'environ une dizaine de chambres chacun, la Pousada das Flores et La Poussada des Arts, récemment rénovée avec des chambres décorées avec goût et une vue splendide sur le port de Salvador. Le prix des chambre de la pousada des Arts est toutefois nettement plus élevé (environ 380 r$ par nuit) |

L acceuil super sympatique du proprio eric! Les chambres spacieuses et tres pres du pelourinho a pieds,pousada silencieuse et super petit dejeuner! Une super pousada ds une super ville! |
