old and shabby bathroom
location was good breakfast decent for Brazilian standart. quick reaction time re booking.
the shower and bathroom were very old and completely covered by mold!! too expensive for the quality delivered.
Very dark at night, not very noisy from outside. People who owned the place were nice.
-First I arrived in a room where there was no water. When I wanted to call to the reception, the telephone didn't work. So I had to put my clothes on again and go there. They put me directly in another room, no problem. I slept well, although this is nothing luxurious, the bed was ok. BUT the second day...I discovered at the end of the day 2 big cockroaches in my room. I didn't have time to tell the owner, as I was here for work and had to leave, so I bought myself some anti-cockroach boxes. The next day the owners said they were really sorry, and that they have stuff to put against them. It was in the middle of the winter time, cold at night (the week before it had been freezing) so it's weird they survived. The hostal owners said it was because of the restaurants in the neighbourhood...so I guess this is a permanent problem here. Unfortunately.
Interesting decor in corridors, small garden area. Staff helpful. Ideal for overnight stop on way back from Pantanal.
Basic breakfast - but ok for price paid,
