I have to say, even though the place is very near downtown, is not an easy walk at night and to actually find a place to eat something at night is not easy. We had to call for a delivery service the first night we were there but they only have a few places working for the pousada and the one we decided to call (a pizzaria) was a nightmare, horrible service, horrible attendants, if you don't speak portuguese I'm sure it could be even worse...the pizza was good, but I think we took more time trying to get the delivery done than wating for the pizza to arrive, so be prepare or go to the little "loja de conveniencia" at the gas station a few feet down street. Very nice girls there will make your coffe and pao de queijo night amazing.
The people at the desk were always very helpful and very nice, they're always very open to aswer whatever question we had about the pousada itself, services or places to be visit. They even gave us a map and tips about what to visit first and if the actual walk from the place to the downtown was easy or not. Bathroom was always very clean, they cleaned our room everyday, it was a little cold but that's not the pousada's fault, Ouro preto is very cold at night. Breakfast was delicious, a table full of different things all of them amazing, coffe, fruits, tea, cheese, eggs, all kinds of breads...All in all it was an excelent experience that only gave a lot more to the beauty of the city.
