It's a beautiful place but too crowded and expensive.
It's a beautiful place but too crowded and expensive. If you are looking for parties and drinking all day long, that's the place. The gastronomy options are diverse and costly. The structure of the village is OK, good public services, however, the TUPA (tourist fee) is too expensive.

Beautiful beaches with lots of restaurants and shops.
Beautiful beaches with lots of restaurants and shops. We took a catamaran over from Salvador because our flight was cancelled. The catamaran ride is 2.5 hours and a bit choppy. We flew back to Salvador. Flight was efficient and very nice.

Beautiful island with a great vibe.
Beautiful island with a great vibe. Good restaurants and bars. The second beach is perfect for a relaxing day. Everything is accessible in Morro with no shortage of activities and opportunities for adventure on the water too.
It feels like a safe place to holiday and the locals are very friendly and welcoming.

While you have the beauty and feeling of a relaxing tropical island, there is enough to do such as island hops, ocean zipline, sunset cruises, walks to and from Gamboa beach, scuba diving etc. You do not get bored. The seafood available on the island is amazing and a huge highlight. But the best thing about the island was the amazing local people. A magical spot.

A lovely place even if crowded at the popular end--1st, 2nd & 3rd beaches but as Anima is on 4th it is quiet and undisturbed.
Worth the 2.5 hr water crossing. Morro is on the land side of the island and within a reef so calm and shallow water.

It is an awesome place to go relax and party.
It is an awesome place to go relax and party.
For parties you have to pay between $35-$100 Brazilian reals.
There is lots of food options and small stores around.
It is not “cheap” there like we thought.
The only thing we disliked was that to transfer from the airport of Salvador de Bahia to Morro de São Paulo it was about 5 hrs.

Morro is small and the property is pretty close to the Main Street with restaurants/bars/shops and even in front of the apartment you find all that and more. The place is spacious, AC worked, Wifi worked very well, loved the balcony, private entrance. The hosts were great, very responsive and accommodating. It felt like home. Keep it mind it’s not a hotel and mosts rental in Bahia places provide basic bed sheets. Definitely recommend it and absolutely would stay there again.
BRENDA, BRENDA, BRENDA. Excellent customer service. I often went to the concierge for advice with regards of trips, local restaurants and they were so very helpful. This hotel is on prime location in the island. They are very clean and had COVID protocols for meals. The pool and the bar is awesome. I cant say enough about the staff. If you have celular data on your phone, you can text the pool bar FROM THE BEACH and they bring you whatever food/drinks you ordered. 10/10.
Everything was spot on. Very clean room, great breakfast with great staff and sea view. Check in and check out was very smooth. The staff in the restaurant also very friendly and all played with my 7 month baby. The owner was very lovely and there every day. Love how the beach is at your door step and also the hotel has 6 chairs with table by the beach that they can reserve for you.
Would definitely recommend and also stay there again.
Via das Pedras is one of the best Pousadas in Morro de São Paulo. Excellent location, very quiet and calm, beautiful grounds, the Superior rooms are huge with a very comfortable bed, great breakfast with lots of options, the pool area is great as well, staff is always friendly and helpful. They have chairs for free at the beach in front of the hotel where they also serve food and drinks from the hotel restaurant. I would go back.
Lovely hotel set in beautiful tropical gardens just on sea front a little away from main drag in Morro. We chose sea view appartments but I think the garden bungalows are better n more spacious with more privacy, where our friends stayed. Really lovely staff and owners who were really helpful, very good breakfast and best meal we had in Morro in their restaurant in the evening. Well recommended.
Sandra gave me very useful information about the arrival to the island and actually helped me a lot to plan my stay there. The hotel is super comfy and clean, it has kitchen to use and there was great free coffee in the morning. Close to everything you need and 10 mins walk from the beach. No noise around and good wifi. All over great vibe and great value for the price, have to come back!
Good location, quite at night but close to Restaurants Bars etc. Rooms are clean and decorated very well and cozy. Breakfast was brought to the room/balcony with view to the sea. From there everything on the Island was good to reach (for those who do not want to stay only at Morro de São paulo)
The location (on first beach) is incredible - at the centre of everything. Second beach (wonderful for young children) is a 5-10 min amble away. This hotel has tables with umbrellas on the beach & is surrounded by cute cafes & charming shops.
Rooms are clean & breakfast is good.
The property is the best value I have found in Morro de Sao Paulo. Of course, are many high end places in town, but I was positive surprised with the accommodations and service for the price. The location is easy access, and closed with the beaches.
Staff is well trained and goes the extra mile. The beach in front of the hotel is amazing, ideal for babies and kids.
They provided a crib, bath tub and other facilities for babies which was really nice.
The staff are very nice and helpful, they let us stay at the hotel more time than we planned with no problem. The room is great and comfy and there are many restaurants nearby. We had much fun!!
You don't feel you are in a hostel but in a hotel. Nice bedroom with AC and it's own bathroom! Breakfast if you like. The house is quiet and with amazing view! The owners are so so cute. ♥️
Amazing location and really comfortable hostel, with friendly, helpful staff. Our bedroom was small but felt like a hotel room! This hostel had everything we needed for a great stay.
This hotel is located in a beautiful and convenient part of the island. The hotel itself is visually stunning, with elegant decor, nice lighting and comfortable rooms.
