We stayed one night on between planes. As our plane left at 17 hours we checked out and left our bagage in the pousada and went for a Salvador site seeing. At coming back we got towels and soap to have a shower before leaving to the airport. Nice! The breakfast which is not bufet was of an excelent taste literaly! At reception there is a English spoken receptionist which is a plus in Bahia where almost nobody speaks English. Price is kind a big.

I have stayed there a # of times now (~6-7). People who work there are always great. The facility is very beautiful and charming, if older. The location is a double edged sword in that, it's proximity to the water, restaurants and clubs makes it great, but it also means that the noise (my only problem really) is always going to be uncontrollable. However, when I go back to Salvador, this is where I plan to stay.

The room was big enough for three persons and breakfast was excellent!!!!! Staff members were always helpful and gave us lots of informations about tours, restaurants etc. We really enjoyed staying there!!!

accueil très sympathique et serviable situation près du farol idéale près des plages et bus pour la vieille ville chambre petite mais bien équipée pour cette catégorie et un effort de décoration pour rendre la pousada agréable contact e mail de bienvenue dès la réservation par booking proposant le taxi et des services parle un peu le français un bon rapport qualité prix pousada à recommander

Un lugar agradable en una casa refaccionada para hotel con pocas habitaciones que dan a patio con plantas y flores visitados por pájaros. Toda la gente, desde los dueños, los empleados de recepción, mucama y cocinera son muy amables y serviciales. Dan buenos datos para paseos y siempre son cordiales. El desayuno no es buffet, pero casi como que lo fuera, porque cada día hay frutas y dulces diferentes y es abundante, no tuve necesidad, pero creo que si se quiere repetir algo lo darán o tratarán de satisfacer al huésped. Sin dudar volvería allí.

Situation géographique de l'Hôtel excellente. Petit déjeuner est minimaliste mais très varié et riche en saveurs: fruits, spécialités locales qui changent chaque jour. Petit déjeuner a prendre jusqu'à 11 heures, excellent pour les lève-tard! Déco très rustique, rue très bruyante, les mendiants a la sortie de l'Hôtel.

A localização é ótima, mas as acomodações, apesar de sempre limpas e organizadas, são bastante simples. O café da manhã (individual), servido entre 8h e 12h é bom (pães, frios, ovos, suco de laranja, uma fruta e algum ingrediente típico), e os funcionários simpáticos. A utilização da rede de wi-fi tem um custo adicional (r$ 5 por dia), mas não funciona em todos os quartos. Tivemos que usar o computador nas áreas comuns, pois o sinal não chegava no nosso quarto.

A pousada é simples,bem simples,mas acolhedora.Os funcionários,de modo geral,se empenham para te atender.O Café-da-manhã embora não tenha a variedade dos grandes hoteis,é feito com carinho,sempre com uma surpresa tipo uma fatia de bolo ou uma tapioca(beiju) ou uma comidinha tipica qualquer...A Roupa de cama e banho é limpa sendo que as toalhas são trocadas diariamente.Ah,ainda contamos com a gentileza de nos ser indicada uma relação de restaurantes na região de bom preço e boa qualidade.Passamos 4 dias lá e se tiver que voltar a Salvador não teria duvidas em escolher a "Estrela do Mar"

Een zeer gastvrije pousada op een voor mij zeer goede lokatie. Eigenlijk te duur in relatie met de kwaliteit. Wel heel gastvrij. Ontbijt goed. Spreken veel talen. Wij komen daar graag.

Adoramos: os funcionários são super atenciosos e a pousada é exatamente o que está no site, sem tirar nem pôr. Não há luxo, mas a pousada é charmosa, o quarto é confortável e limpo! Ah! O café da manhã é bem servido, estava uma delícia, mas não tinha muita variedade. Para nós não foi um problema, pois comemos de tudo, mas para aqueles mais enjoados pode ser um pequeno problema...
