The upgraded room I purchased was one of the largest I've ever experienced in Brazil. With windows facing over the city center you could see all the action below. Breakfast was quite lovely and covered all the basics. The shower in the bathroom was amazing.

The noise pollution was the worst I've ever experienced in a hotel room. I slept only 3-4 hrs over the whole night. From the street below you can hear every Harley Davidson motorcycle (a hip thing to have in this city apparently) reeving their engines up and down the street over and over and well past 3am. Every drunk conversation on the popular bar district along the road also was disturbing. Drunk people were constantly shouting, whistling, and generally causing ruckus all night long. I never felt rested in this hotel, regardless of the fine amenities it offered. Until the hotel fixes the noise pollution on the street facing rooms by upgrading the single pane windows to triple panes and sealing the surrounds, I cannot recommend this hotel. Unless of course that is your scene then it is great.
