Its not right in the centre of the village, which is good as there is little noise. Free coffee and tea in the afternoon and a hammock is a good way to laze about about a day trekking. Minibar was very reasonably priced to stock up on water or have a beer.

Swimming pool is very small, more like a place to paddle and keep cool when sunbathing.

We stayed in a chalet for eight nights and loved it. The chalet was clean, cool at night and had everything we needed. In the afternoon there was a coffeehour with delicious cakes; a nice extra! The pool is on the small side, but very clean. I would recommend the hotel. Pousada mata nativa is an excellent value for money.

The internetconnection didn't work that fast, but was fast enough to check your e-mail. It didn't bother me that much.

The breakfast was excellent.They also provided afternoon tea with homemade cookies. The location is stunning and the stuff is really friendly.

They should speak better english,everything else was great!

We loved our stay in Mata Nativa. The pousada is lovely, very comfortable and in the same time you feel surrounded by nature. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the hostess, Kika, who helped us in everything we needed. We would definitely go back there.

Room was damp (including the mattress) and old. Basically all elements in the room where outdated; warn towels, torn bedsheets with stains. The room smelled of urine. We were feeling extremely disappointed after pulling our bags uncomfortably up the hill (which we found is not the nicest area of Ilha Grande) to find What appears to be a nice place from the outside, inhospitable rooms! Even breakfast was horrible with a dirty toaster, barely any fruit with flies on them, juice with water and a little orange which is uncommon in Brazil! Especially when looking at the price we would not recommend this place to anyone! We booked for 3 nights but after the first night checked out to stay somewhere else!

We had a chalet which was really nice. Quiet place. Clean. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Nice nature around.

Very nice place. we stayed in a challet with a big bed nice bathroom and a hammock outside. some complained about the rooms beeing damp but thats just the way it is all over the island. we had no complaints about the room, food or the staff. ilha grande is a great place

Nice Pousada. Staff was excellent and service was very good. Over priced, but so is every guesthouse in this island. The place is well taken care of and the challets are very nice. Breakfast was good and the best thing was there was lots of fruits. It is also very quiet so sleeping was not a problem. And it is also close to the town center, only a couple of minutes walk as are the beaches. Anyway everything is close in this tiny town. Wifi works ok.

Location is good, it's right around the corner of the centre of Abraao, and the Pousade with the cottages looks nice from the outside.

The rooms weren't really clean. The staff doesn't speak English, which is quite difficult sometimes.

Very clean, value for money and very friendly owners. Perfect.

We stayed in one of the chalets. They were comfortable. We liked the chairs on the small veranda and the hammock. Inside you have boards to put your stuff which are quite useful. The safe is also convenient. The shower was good and hot (If you don't get hot water, just ask at the reception. The gas bottle to heat the water might be empty. They switch to a new bottle then within a minute. Very quick and good service!) Breakfast was good and served in a very friendly and open room. In the afternoons you could get tea and small cakes which was very nice. In general the whole place looks very inviting. Lots of colorful plants and everything well maintained. Walking from the docks where the ferry arrived to the pousada took about 5 minutes. Really no problem to get from the pousada to the restaurants and shops quickly. We liked that the place was quiet at night since it's a bit away from the restaurants and shops. That was worth the extra few minutes of walking. Internet in the reception area worked well. There are desks and a sofa to sit on.

We had sunny and dry weather. Since there is no extra fan in the bathroom it was a bit difficult to get the humidity out. So we imagine that if it's rainy outside this might be a problem. In dry weather it was ok.

Single Bed's are too small

Great place overall for a no-frills stay. Friendly staff (not English- speaking) and good breakfasts. Wooden chalets are atmospheric and clean. Close to shortcut up to path to Dois Rios, which is a scramble but well worth taking!

We stayed on a holiday weekend, so more expensive than usual. Our chalet got quite damp when it rained, and it rained a lot (late April). Check weather forecast before going to Ilha Grande!

A beautiful pousada, tucked away in a hillside forest, almost becomes part of the landscape. Nice rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Ilha Grande...

basicamente tudo, inclusive aquele lanchinho da tarde muito oportuno.

não foi que não gostei, mas poderia melhorar o espaço para a mesa do café da manha. achei um pouco tumultuado quando tem muitas pessoas. temos que esperar p/ servir, ficamos esbarrando um no outro. a mesa poderia ser maior ou os alimentos distribuidos de outra forma, para evitar o engarrafamento à mesa.

Gostei do atendimento na recepção e no café da manhã.

Não gostei do chale que fiquei, pois era de parede geminada e a família ao lado com criança que começou a fazer barulho desde as 5:30 h.e falei com a Kika da recepção, pois não fui avisa que ficaria em chalé geminado. De fato não gostei.

Por estar bem relacionado com a natureza.

O café da manhã poderia ter mais opções de sucos, ter ovos mechidos.

Bei den vergangen Bewertungen habe ich etwas besseres erwartet, viele viele Moskitos und wir sind mit Durchfall krank geworden

Para casal o ambiente é bem romantico.

Não espere nada além do básico da senhora que fica na recepção. Devido a chuva chegamos muito molhados na pousada, se quer foi oferecido toalhas extras ou o serviço de lavanderia,mesmo que pagássemos...da recepção para o chalé pegamos mais chuva. Tive que incluir em cima da hora meus filhos, fiquei feliz pois o próprio Jean, da pousada, ofereceu a troca por um chalé maior, chegando no mesmo verificamos que a troca não havia sido feito, apenas incluído uma beliche muito alta. Expliquei a situação na recepção e a mesma senhora disse que o funcionário havia se enganado pois os chalés de 2 quartos estavam todos ocupados, quanto a altura da beliche não tinham nenhuma grade de proteção, disse apenas para nós encostarmos a cama na parede...ahhh e o outro lado? A solução que nós encontramos foi colocar um dos colchões no chão. Embora tivessem tv a cabo, os canais se resumiam a 3 ou 4, os demais as imagens eram ruins e com interferência. Obs. Os 40% extra das crianças foi pago.

As instalações são novas, os quartos são extremamente limpos, café da manhã excelente, atendimento impecável e localização perfeita.

Excelente atención, muy buena ubicación, lugar muy tranquilo pero a pocos metros del mar y de la zona comercial. Se destaca la limpieza de toda la posada. Muy recomendable!
