Atmospheric, friendly, great location and beautiful building. Great pizza next door too.

Stayed in 2 different rooms, both had broken/damaged door locks.

Service's awful, the recepcionist just couldn't take his ear out of the telphone to talk to us (me and another guest I found at the entry). The neighborhood doesnt help very much, also; old falling buildings and no facilities, such as pharmacy or market, around. Not sure if I'd get back.

Clean rooms in the center of the city for an affordable price. The Bus station Praia Grande Terminal is a 5 min walk away for your trip to the beach (Calhau). I like what they've done to improve the overall ambience of the Pousada with lamps, paintings, couches etc in the common area.

WiFi is not available in the rooms, but only in common areas!

Hardly any English speaker. Very lovely & helpful staff though. Only stayed 1 night but definitely recommend it. Nice poussada!

My room (number 26 was extremely noisy at night time (till 4 A.M.). The Hotel needs urgently a renovation

La chambre cote rue etait tres bien decoree. Comme nous etions un dimanche, nous n'avons pas eu de probleme de bruit venant de la rue. Par contre la semaine le bruit doit etre plus important. Notre seconde chambre etait nettement moins bien. Il n'y avait pas de fenetre ! Bon petit dejeuner Pizzeria juste a cote ( une pizza pour deux est suffisant)

Inegalite de la qualite des chambres Beaucoup de bruit dans la rue en semaine (principalement le samedi)

The building is really nice and well preserved, coffee is available during the day and you can relax in the common areas

I booked many months in advance and despite that, I probably had the worse room (is that due to the fact I'm a solo traveller?): no window, very small. For this price you except much better. All together I am disappointed, although the posada itself is nice.

Located in the historical center of the city, the staff can speak English, the reception lady is smart, the picture of signboard is awesome, the breakfast is delicious, the lobby is spacious enough to sit in a happy circle with many tourists, and the interior design looks antique. It's perfect.

Beautiful colonial house, nice breakfast, charming room.

Very, very dangerous neighborhood, specially at night. All kinds of addicteds and drug dealers around. Scary!

If you want to stay in the old city with no traffic at all, the location is fine.

The overall setting of the pousada is very charming, very warm. Ideally located

Depending on the hour, the staff at reception is more or less helpful. Problem with the shower for 1 entire day (only cold water ) Additional attention could be put on the Breakfast

A pousada muito bonita, bem cuidada, limpa. Fica dentro do centro histórico. Recomendo!

Por ficar dentro do centro histórico não é possivel chegar ou sair de carro, então você tem de carregar suas malas por um quarteirão. À noite ficamos um pouco receosos para sair, mas acredito que não há perigo em se ficar por perto da pousada.

Pousada muito simpática, rústica, bem decorada e organizada. Uma excelente forma de aproveitar os casarões do centro histórico.

Olá, Gostei muito da pousada. Os funcionários são muito ateciosos, e os apartamentos são acolhedores e confortáveis. É uma boa opção com satisfação garantida.

Hospedei-me nessa pousada apenas para passar uma tarde e uma noite, pois logo cedo viajaria para Barreirinha. Os funcionários são atenciosos, o café da manhã é razoável, mas é uma ambiente limpo. Não se pode exigir muito pelo preço, mas para quem não tem grandes exigências, consegue se hospedar com tranquilidade.

Eu sabia que era uma pousada com decoração rústica, mas é um rústico de muito mal gosto...aproveitam de tudo que é reciclado para montar o ambiente, tornando o mesmo pesado e cafona. A rua na qual fica a pousada não entra carro, dificultando a chegada e saída com as malas. No mais, é só tentar aproveitar a cidade, que por sinal é feia e mal cuidada.

Apenas da ideia de utilizar um casarão antigo para transformar em hotel, no entanto, esta poderia ser mais cuidadosa com a aparência e conforto.

Quarto apertado, pouquíssimas opções e falta de organização no serviço de café da manhã, água do chuveiro não esquenta.

O centro antigo de São Luis pode assustar um pouco na chegada, mas é tranquilo...

Da localização- Está situado em pleno Centro Histórico de São Luís, em rua bucólica, perto de museus, áreas de apresentações culturais e feirinhas de artesanatos e, sobretudo, da exuberante natureza estuarina do rio Bacanga. Do hotel- Além de sua fachada perfeitamente integrada à rua histórica, há vários nichos artisticamente decorados, de modo a lhe situar no contexto da área da cidade e lhe propiciar "conforto caseiro".

O hotel tem piso e paredes que refletem cada passada e conversa dos hóspedes.

Lindo casarão todo decorado com peças do período colonial, a pousada está localizada no Centro Histórico, na famosa Rua do Giz. O Staff é muito bacana, super atenciosos. E ao lado tem uma pizzaria maravilhosa.
