Pousada Tropicana

The hotel is located only 50 meters from the main dock. The hotel is directly in front of the beach and breakfast is served looking out over the sea. Breakfast is varied, including lots of fresh fruits. The staff speaks English and is very helpfull. The rooms are nice and clean, including a/c and a refrigerator. Wifi works well.

Had a powerloss after a thunderstorm hit the island, but this is common for all hotels on the island. It just means taking a cold shower and no wifi for a day :)

We only stayed for one night but the Pousada is in a perfect location right on the seafront and very close to the pier. Clean and well equipped rooms with a bathroom and some of the rooms have a sea view. Lovely breakfast - the best on our trip. Definitely recommend.

Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms very welcoming and nicely styled. One of the most convenient locations on the island next to the docks on abrao and well kept gardens plus relaxed easy breakfast with a lovely view of the bay.

Beachfront location and many hammocks to relax and enjoy and good value laundry service.

Le situation, le petit dejeuner, le calm, la gentillesse du personel.

Da limpeza da pousada. Diariamente os quartos são limpos e as toalhas trocadas. O Café da manhã apesar de não ter muitas variedades, é bem gostoso e tem o necessário, e mais um pouco para uma ótima refeição, para nós foi o suficiente, nota 10.

O restaurante da pousada poderia ter outros pratos além de crepe. Pelo que a pousada oferece o preço poderia ser mais atrativo. O mobiliário antigo, quartos pequenos (ressalto colchão bom e roupa de cama limpa). Acredito que o valor se dê por ser em frente a praia, porém a vista é de longe e assim mesmo se forem nos quartos superiores. Ainda sim recomendamos, pois a ilha tem tantos atrativos que apenas um local para um bom banho e descanso está ótimo.

Pousada liegt 2 Minuten vom Schiffsanlege-Steg entfernt. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet im Restaurant mit Meerblick. Hotel liegt in der Mitte des kleinen Dorfes Abraao, von dort aus kann man Wanderungen und Boots-Ausflüge unternehmen. Leckere Creperia gehört zum Hotel. Gemütliche Ecke mit Hängematten zum relaxen.

Oft Probleme mit dem Strom und dem Internet (-> Problem aber im ganzen Dorf!) Überall laufen Krebse herum:) Der Strand von Abraao ist nicht wirklich schön, es muss immer ein teures Boot genommen werden, um an einen schönen Strand zu kommen.

Excelente ubicación y predisposición del personal, el lugar es muy lindo y las habitaciones espaciosas y muy comodAs! Tienen un jardín muy bonito para relajarse

Tienen muy buen desayuno, Habitacion amplia y limpia, buena ducha caliente y el personal disponible para ayudar en organizar o recomedar possibles tours en la isla.

Sehr preiswert, Super Lage!, Tolle Insel! Das Personal sprach zwar nicht fließend englisch war aber sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit! Die Pousada liegt direkt am Ablegesteg, also super Lage! Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist top! Wir waren dort vom 1.4.2013-5.4.2013! Kann man nur empfehlen! Wir hatten Zimmer 6 mit Meerblick!

La Posada es muy linda. La habitación y el baño eran amplios. Bien decorada y cómoda. Buen precio y excelente ubicación. El desayuno muy completo.

Excelente ubicación: en el medio de Abrao y a pasos de los muelles (fundamental). El desayuno era muy bueno y todos los que trabajan en la pousada nos trataron muy bien (Gerard nos dio mucha información muy útil). La recomiendo totalmente. Y, si van, ¡recorran todas las trilhas que puedan!

Limpeza, é péssima, recepção muito ruim, cheguei minha reserva confirmada, havia sido cancelada, o funcionário que me atendeu nada sabia! Nem mesmo meu nome, diferente de quem me atendeu ao tel qdo fiz a reserva, um rapaz muito educado e atencioso.
