location, facilities, helpful staff
high prices for touristic trips, but bargaining possible
I like the hotel, the staff, the location and the comfort.
Far too expensive for the quality of the hotel. Room was average , tv had almost no English speaking channels and the second day didn't work at all. My door was opened 3 times in 2 days without anybody knocking and the wardrobe was musty
the staff can speak English, food is ok, room is ok
the rooms near to the street are so noisy at night
For this price range the room was a good size and comfortable, with plenty of hot water and a decent bed. Breakfast was concise but of a good quality. The Metro station is exactly opposite.
We had a bad experience with the night desk staff regarding a bit of flippancy in his judgement of us, as a young mixed race couple. This was quickly seen to by the duty manager but the comments/attitude certainly tainted our stay.
I liked the location, some staff were really good.
The staff on duty that night were the waste. He tried to bribe us to pay more than what we booked for. Luck of international exposure. I think, these guys need to more training on hotel management!!!!!!
Location was good Breakfast was excellent
Room was very simple. Plain. No drawers to put clothes in. Gym was very small.
Employis aren't friendly And they don't have any idea about service, breakfast are so bad, you'll never feel confotble about that
nice breakfast, clean nice rooms
a little pricey, they charge for high speed internet as well
Pool on the roof had a lovely view of Christ the Redeemer. Caipirinhas early evening in the bar downstairs were excellent.
Because of the World Cup i was paying 5 star prices for a 3 star experience. Hotel pretty shabby, service in the restaurant was a tad Fawltyesque and the food was average at best.
Breakfast is very good.
I have travelled around but have never seen lower value for money. Just don't visit this hotel. Some exampels. I had blood on my bed when I arrived and it was not changed once in 5 days. The personel is very aggresive and is not helpful. If anybody goes to the toalet in the building you wake up from the noise in the pipes.
the manager was rude and asked who the reservation was for and stared me up and down he was unfriendly and ignored me to help someone else even though i was there first noone helped with our luggage and the staff yelled at us ..no wifi entire stay horrible hotel and staff ..this was the worst part of my trip...the best thing i liked was when i checked out
i liked nothing i asked for help with taxi and i was ignored so i walked down the street ..horrible experience
Location is great. Close to Metro, beach and good restaurants within walking distance. Room comfortable and clean.
Very expensive during FIFA WC Charging daily rate for use of room safe! Aircon ineffective and it was winter.
it was ok generally
too expensive but due to world cup
breakfast was good, location was good (few minutes walk to the beach)
Rooms were clean and it had a good breakfast selection.
The price during the World Cup was outrageous.
Location Size of room Views from roof top pool
Way overpriced Pool very small
Leaving at the end.
Cold shower Coroche in shower Broken safe Dirty bedding Broken aircon Cracked window Wifi not working very well Being locked out of our room as door broke Sleeping in reception waiting for a manager to show up. The Owner was very unhelpful. I also didn't like the 70's decor
friendly guys at the reception- especially Sandro ! top service ! Top location - calm at night !
I can' t say anything against this hotel, exept the room rates are relativly high, but this is RIO...
Location, near metro, beach, shops, bars etc
Expensive. Suite is just a slightly larger room
Very friendly staff ! Well located along copacabana....and very confortable room. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and fresh mango ;)
Not very big room
Near metro station
This is not value for money
The view from the pool was amazing, the location was good and the breakfast was lovely. I have no complaints.
Nothing really to dislike
They didn't know I was coming
