Staff is awesome, property is great, location is amazing
The hotel staff was very, very kind and thoughtful, specially restaurant and housekeeping people. The location is excellent.
1) We would have preferred a double bed (we are a couple). We had 2 beds instead, and had to join them; 2) One of the restaurants we went to in Natal offered hotel pick-up service, and we were not informed about that. We only learned it after having our meal at the restaurant. I believe front desk clerks should give guests this kind of information; 3) Although there were 3 desktop computers in the business center, only one of them was working.
Perfect stay all the time. Fluent in English reception . In the years Before this Radisson was built in Maceio . I tried 5 other hotels . Non compare to the staff and high end environment of this hotel. Air conditioned reception - so no Mosquitos
Should be bigger . Gets sold out
With its location, this hotel was ideal for our stay during which we walked everywhere we wanted. There is a lot of good restaurants near the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The room was great and with a fine view of the sea. We would use it again.
The beach is not so great.
Located by the best urban beach in Maceio (Pajucara, just across the street) this functional, clean, and comfortable hotel is managed by a friendly and effective staff. A great variety of excellent restaurants is within a 10-minute walk. The location looks and feels very safe, with multitudes of tourist walking around at all hours.
Maceio is a dangerous city, with the highest murder rate in Brazil. The beach are is very safe and the odds of something unpleasant (or worse) happening there are minimal. However, a couple of security agents standing by the hotel entrance and the outside bar would discourage street kids and some others from approaching guests to ask for cigarettes and money. We have made this suggestion to the staff, but they did not seem to perceive this as a problem...
Staff very kind, helpful, and fluent in English , great breakfast Has on site taxi - no other Maceio hotel does.
Wifi can get weak if you are located to far from the receiver . At check-in. Simply ask for a room closer to receiver and no problem with signal.
Second Floor Room can be noisy durring Partys on Ground Floor
The hotel is near a lot of the good restaurants. The city is dangerous so at night it is advisable to get a cab to go around. Since none of the beaches around the hotel area were suitable for bathing, all the better beaches are far away, needing to get a cab or rent a car. The hotel has a great view of the beach and the rooms are spacious and clean. The shower is very good, in my opinion an essential detail in the room. The staff are friendly and always try to do their best to help you.
We asked for a late check out since the first day we arrived. Everyday we would ask them if they had an answer and each person at the front desk pass on the responsibility to the next, until we gave up. On the last day, after we had come back from our tour ( we had already packed out bags and had left it in the front desk) they told us we could have had the late check out, having to pay half a day's roomrate. Obviosly we refused, but what made me upset was the fact that they didnt answer us right away, if they couldnt give us the late check out, we would have preferred to know from day one, instead of being told everyday that we had to com e back the next day to ask again. Only to know on the last day that we would have to pay half a days room. The wifi also is very slow and frequently would stop working during the day.
Excellent location, right in front of the beach. Nice hotel overall and great food. I recommend it.
Wifi is very bad in bedrooms and sometimes it doesn't work at all on common areas. I had lots of troubles with wifi.
As we did get one of the best rooms in the hotel, the view was excellent, the room had plenty of space, with multiple environments. The staff were very professional. The ladies fixing the room in the morning were very creative with the towel left on top of the bed: every day they would make a different design (a flower, a teddy bear, etc,). The food was delicious.
The entire personnel was really attentive and very caring. Super service!
