Excellent location close to Chica Pitanga restaurant. Courteous staff. Stayed this time in room 204 which had been upgraded. Great pool. As hotels go in Boa Viagem a good option
Only 2 sun loungers NOT broken!
Restaurant, pool, and nice gym
No wifi in rooms, outdated, beds were super firm and uncomfortable
I had just one problem to complain and it´s related to a leak in the bathroom, quite unpleasant
-wifi - cleanliness of the rooms - general state of the hotel and its facilities
WiFi: for business people, the quality of Wifi is a nightmare...
It's four weeks since I've stayed @ I still haven't received my money back because they'd taken the payment for the rooms of me twice.i have emailed the hotel last week with no joy.
Their bathrooms need to be updated
The hotel is in a good location & the facilities and staff are great, I will definitely be recommending the hotel to friends and family and will also be staying there myself later in the year.
It was an accident, but they taken a payment for the rooms twice and 3 weeks later this still hasn't been paid so hopefully I will get some news in the next day or 2?
Good location in Boa Viagem. Very good front desk staff.
Rock hard beds. Old broken furniture. High prices. Terrible WiFi. Was there for World Cup.
- Too expensive (blatant robbery) - We paid for 5 people, but they only had one room ready for 2 people - The Wifi doesn't work - The room smelt like sewerage - The staff were extremely incapable and did not care at all - There seemed to be a health and sanitation sign on the wall of the bathroom with warnings about the cleanliness of the bathroom which they tried to rip off
The staff spoke great English and were incredibly helpful.
Recife……. We had just returned from Porto de Galinhas and had been spoilt for 4 days
Hotel is old, cleaning standards are low, wifi signal strength is ridiculous, price was way too high for a hotel built and furnished last time in the '70., noisy during rest hours, majority of staff at reception desk doesn't speak English. The ones who do speak are not too helpful.
Breakfast was decent Location near the beach staff tried to help
Incredibly outdated Ridiculously overpriced no power plugs in bedroom no glass windows in bathrooms, but just wooden shutter water wouldn't go down the sink, called front desk and 1 hour later someone came to fix, but didn't clean up, so I had to go back down to the front desk and ask for someone to come and dry the floor. 1 hour later someone came. They charged me 15$ for using the gym when the hotel description never said gym was going to be extra
Good pool. Most staff spoke at least a little English. Breakfast was good.
Beds were very stiff, had a sore back after a few nights.
The room was spacious, and the breakfast was good. But that's about it.
There were problems from the moment we walked in: 1. The card reader would not work, so we had to try 4 different cards before we could make the payment; 2. We had booked a double-bed room, but we got a twin-bed room, which they said they could not change. We also did not chase it as the staff did not speak much English; 3. The Wi-Fi at this hotel was the poorest I encountered in Brazil during my 3 weeks trip. The signal was never strong even in the lobby. 4. It came as a shock when I was asked to pay for using the gym, come on! 5. And finally, the room service - the staff did not speak much English, and I had to repeat the order 5 or 6 times before I gave up. I called the reception to report the situation, and they advised me to go all the way down with the room service menu and give the order at the reception, so that they can pass on the order to the kitchen. I went out to a good restaurant instead.
Water was dripping from the AC unit so badly that I almost slipped. Yes, a puddle was on the floor when I woke up in the middle of the night under the AC unit. All of my colleagues had same problem in their rooms.
this hotel was the worst that i ever stayed in all my life
very old hotel, the stuff also very old over 60 yrs old, didnt have wifi, neither hot water.the room was terrible
everything was great: service, location close to the beach, Facilities and cleaniness. wifi was mostly good.
location, staff, pool
bathroom, thin doors
Good price. Near the beach. Interesting bars round about it. Excellent breakfast and decent pool. No complaints - I don't understand some of the negative reviews this place has received.
Wifi didnt work Shower was bad bed hard as a rock Expensive
- The location: near the beach and restaurants. - The breakfast was great!
- Wi-fi did not work in the room (only worked in the lobby) - Bedsheets were dirty when we checked in, and had to ask the them to change them. - The room was very old and the lighting was terrible. - The bathtub was very old and rusted.
The pool was very nice. Breakfast was very good.
No Wifi in room.
I liked the staff, they were helpful and friendly. The cleaners were very good too, our room was always cleaned. The breakfast was quite good, plenty of different food to choose from.
The WiFi was terrible, hardly any reception.
