Recife Monte Hotel    

The location

The beds were as hard as sleeping on the floor! They literally have boards inserted in the mattresses that you can feel. When we complained they said all beds were the same! We found hairs in the sheets and the shower was nasty with rings of stains on the walls. The room was old and not updated. When you pay for a four star hotel you expect what you pay! We will NOT stay there ever again!!

All the reception employee were very helpful to me, The ring-bell boys were wonderful giving directions, and suggesting the perfect eating place and CDs of local band that I should get. I enjoy my stay, for security was my concern but I felt safe at Recife Monte Hotel. Location is excellent, close to the beach, restaurant, and shopping.

Excellent staff, booking was done online and we had the room to our exact requirements - 3 single beds. Food at the buffet breakfast and during the evening meal truly excellent.

Found 1 cockroach in the room on first day only, no others found later. Wifi was very slow on my girlfriend's tablet, but internet computers by front desk very good and fast. Unexplained ISS service charge on final bill.

Basically, the swimming pool, which was really good. However, the engole hotel needs a refurbishment

Really liked nothing about this property, truly disappointed with booking.com grading of this property.

Probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in my life , and for sure the worst value for money, I payed a fortune for this hotel, as I trusted the rating of booking.com, beds where very uncomfortable and with a hard cheap foam mattress. Air conditioning was just making noise and not cooling at all, rooms where old and poor,three nights where charged to my credit card upon check in, not at check out as in most hotels around the world. I am very disappointed with booking.com for recommending and grading so high such a bad hotel. The real value of this hotel is that of a backpacker level.

Felt like time travelling to the 70es.. Everything was really old there!! And I cant explain... It was so awkard!

Large, elegantly furnished rooms (even if beginning to fade). Excellent breakfast. Very good location.

English was a challenge to the staff, and they did not make a lot of effort to understand a guest less than fluent in Portuguese.

The staffs are unfriendly, The room is very small and no confortable. This is not 4star hotel, maximun 3star about tahe pool, the rest is 2 star.

O quarto possui eletrodomésticos super novos, embora a mobília seja antiga. Café da manhã muito bom!

Na chegada, o atendimento não foi tão bom e tem que pagar logo no check-in.

A localização é excelente, os funcionários atenciosos e o Hotel em sí é muito bom.

O quarto em que ficamos tinha vazamento na torneira da pia do banheiro e também na janela do quarto, de onde pingava água que aparentemente vinha do andar de cima. Fiz a reclamação com a recepção, que me prometeu a manutenção. Aguardei, mas ninguém apareceu... Após nova reclamação, fomos trocados de quarto...

Tem dois problemas Esse hotel precisa de uma reabilitaçao (reforma) completa a manutençao nao e efectuado o que da uma impressao de abandono Esse hotel nao merece 04 estrelas !! So imaginar um estrangeiro procurando um hotel dessa categoria ..ele nao vai entender como o hotel pode ser clasificado de 4 estrelas . o problema que ele e auto classificado

Péssima acomodação! Tudo muito antigo e sem manutenção. O quarto estava com cheiro de desinfetante.

A localização é ótima! Dado o valores das diárias praticadas no Recife, valeu a pena.

O estado de conservação deste hotel antigo não é dos melhores. A cama do nosso quarto era extremamente desconfortável, assim como os travesseiros. O café da manhã também deixou a desejar. Outro ponto é o serviço de estacionamento. Pagamos uma taxa por dia e o nosso carro ficou todos os dias estacionado na rua.
