The location was great, right on the Copacabana and fairly close to Ipanema. One day our room wasn't cleaned. couldn't deliver laundry because there was no bag in the room and the reception was too busy with preparations for the new year's eve. the pool, gym & roof were closed for 3 days because they held a party there. It took ages for hot water to arrive and sometimes they came in red-brownish color.

Excellent location and great breakfast!! The negative aspect was the view from the room : it was facing another building (it was a standard room)

I would stay here every time I'm in Sao Paulo if you had a better/ bigger gym. I will forgo the pool for this feature. Overall a very nice stay. Thank you.

Very good location for relaxing and enjoying the best beaches in Rio, the breakfast is very good and the staff helpfull. The partial view from the superior room is very partial, so it´s hardly worth paying extra for it. The swimmimg pool is very small and shalow, but with a wonderful view on the top of the hotel.

Staff and room were excellent. We visited twice during our trip, they staff remembered us and even gave us the same room. Breakfast was great as well.

The location of the hotel is ideal with the best views over copacabana bay and the the beach is smaller easier to get to than other locations and the sea calmer . many restuarants close by and one next door which will splitt one dish to share by two people lowering the cost They are refurbishing at present which caused a little discomfort

its at the Copacabana beachfront, perfect place and safe to stay in Rio. Very convenient location to travel by the onibus from that area going to Corcovado, Sugar Loaf or anywhere else.

This place was clean, near the beach, and provided us a nice stay after staying at shanty hostels. There were no bugs, helpful staff, but the downside was it was really expensive. With that said alot of the hotels were really expensive in Copacabana. It was really close to Ipanema and lots of restaurants. Expensive

I haved stayed in the bussiness room wich is the better room of the hotel but dont have view of the beach. It is the better choice! the staff

I tried several including big names and decided to come to this one just for moderate price, but room of such excellent quality positively surprise me! Breakfast is very limited, and in spite it was included into my room rate Staff said that I have to pay for some separate issues! Like omelet!?

The location of the Golden Tulip Regente is excellent for those wanting a beach view and a great place to explore Rio from. It was very difficult getting on their wireless. It would only stay online for a few minutes at a time.

I stayed with my wife for a weekend. Location is great, just in front of the beach. Room very clean, friendly staff. The breakfast is wonderful, one of the best I ever had. If you rent a car, I don’t know if they have parking lot. Highly recommended, indeed, if you don’t care about the price (a little overpriced, but still a good value).

excellent location and beach service, clean room and helpful friendly staff we upgraded on arrival and an attempt was made to charge us more than we agreed on checkout. This was quickly rectified when we queried it
