Very friendly staff!!
The breakfast buffet is very good and rich..The kitchen chief is very friendly!!
You can't print your flight's check in because there isn't a computer room with internet
Generally clean rooms, excellent breakfast.
Most of the staff were trying their best to help (although unfortunately only a few spoke English) but One of the older male staff at the front desk who did speak English was very rude, showed irritability with guests and mocked guests that did not speak Portugese. Also, the room was infested with ants.
They were unpolite and unhelpful
At a walking distance, I could be at the beach.
The place is 100 metres away from metro station. Excellent for commuting. Great breakfast!
This is the noisiest hotel I have stayed in . Its a small hotel with thin walls. Noise literally wakes you up.
The price for the location. The fresh fruit in the buffet.
Staff could of spoke a little english
no hair dryer in the room....not even possible to get one at the reception
very good .
Good location near by beach and metro somehow , good breakfast buffet easy to find a taxi
No room view the ac was so noisy no hair dryer took a time to do the check in as there s no room available
Good location - we were able to find all we needed in walking distance. Great, helpful staff. If you want to visit Christ the Redeemer, don't bother with tour services. The Parks service has shuttle buses that take you there, and the staff directed us to the bus location (4 blocks). The room we stayed in faced the street but had a small belcony and great views. Wifi coverage was great. Small but great hotel.
Close to metro
Room wasn't ready until after published check-in time! Basic hotel which because of World Cup was quite a bit over-priced
despite hotel is one of official worldcup fifa residence but in brazil you cannot find hotel within the same budget limit as luxurious as Dubai or Abudhabi for example (so peolple who arrive from there just accept that fact whenever you go abroad) sincerely Helpful staff always English oriented staff will be around to help special thanks to M Cynthia ;-) wifi is good close to beach and metro station breakfast is great with diverse menu , the chief smiley one of the best choices in Rio
its a bit old building Rio itself is not a safe city compared to middle east major destinations
Close to the metro, clean and comfortable rooms, staff spoke English. Safe neighborhood.
The restaurant food. I usually don't eat at hotel restaurants, but wasn't feeling well on my last night and didn't want to go out at night. Then again, most hotel restaurants serve food that isn't anything to write home about. Word of caution: If you ask to call for a taxi, the hotel staff will try to put you into a car owned by the hotel, not a regular taxi and charge you a fixed amount. This can be a win or a loss, depending on the time of day. I didn't bother insisting on calling a yellow taxi because I was traveling in rush hour and traffic in Rio can get really bad, so it was advantageous to pay the fixed price rather than go for a ticking meter.
Breakfast and staff and valet parking
Facilities like pool and
The room was spacious enough, nice big shower and the buffet breakfast was very good, especially the selection of fruit and juices.
Occasional blockage in sink and toilet and also an occasional unpleasant smell in the bathroom.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
This place is closer to a hostel than a hotel. Rooms are very small and if your room faces the street it can get loud.
We were pleased with the very convenient position of the Hotel which is within a short walk of the water front, shops etc but on a side street with rooms away from the main traffic areas. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast buffet was good and generous and our room was comfortable and well appointed. 'Obrigada'
Nothing to report.
Location, price (if compared to others), breakfast and especially its staff.
We are sure our car was scratched by hotel parking staff but can't prove it. Front desk staff looked indifferent to customers, but we had little interaction with them.
awesome balcony on 7th floor
wifi keeps dropping out
Excellent breakfast. Close to Catete metro station and Flamengo park (lots of cats!).
Good wheelchair accessible room with wheel in shower.
No seat in shower. There are about 10 steep steps to get into hotel, when we arrived the staff just picked me up in my wheelchair and carried me up the steps which was pretty dangerous - we thought this was the only option but they do have a ramp as we found out when leaving but they just couldn't be bothered to get it out! Walls are very thin (no soundproofing) so it was quite noisy.
Location and breakfast were the high points.
We thought it was a bit unecological to change towels and bed linen every day.
friendly staff excellent breakfast
No kettle in room to make tea
