Staff didn't speak the best English but were very helpful nonetheless. A good selection at breakfast and the size of room (esp. Shower) were very good for the price. Good location near one of the main metro stations. Would recommend if you're on a budget in SP!
- Comfortable bed - Great location - Dated furniture adds a touch of style
- Breakfast wasn't well stocked - Breakfast wasn't variedade. - Área sketchy at night, too many homeless
Hotel has a really vintage looking. I think it is really old hotel. Not for long, but for a short stay this hotel will be perfect. Prices are also really reasonable.
Bed sheets are not so good, it can be a little bit disturbing for rigorous people.
Good location, decent breakfast.
Staff weren't great, barely smiled during my entire stay and gave the impression that guests were an inconvenience. Also the booking promised wi-fi and although this did exist the staff refused to give me the password. They claimed it wasn't working yet my tablet was picking up a full signal from it and the internet behind reception seemed to be working without a problem as I saw the staff using the web.
A very dirty room with cigarrete ashes around, very bad odor, lots of noise. It is clear that they don't take care of the status of the room because it was really bad Unpolite personal Awfull breakfast The zone where the hotel is placed is quite bad at night
It's OK if you're planning to stay one or two days on a low budget.
Very poor breakfast.
just about everything, the reception collected kickback from a taxi driver to take me the airport, and pass the inflated bill on to me.
Wifi worked well in common areas and staff were excellent, very helpful. Good price and good base to walk from.
Place was a bit run down and room on border of cleanliness. Other guests very noisy and breakfast not great, nearly all ran out on 2nd morning and it was not even 9am.
The staff were very helpful even with their minimal English language abilities. They were quick to let us in to the hotel on a late night arrival. The front desk staff went around the block to get us taxi on the way back to the airport, and made a point of letting us us know how much we should pay for the cabin case the driver tries to cheat us !
The area is not very safe ....like most places in Brazil I guess..so don't plan to spend much time outside after dark. also for the price of the room (comparable to US/Canada) facilities were not up to par.
There was no functional WI-FI or internet for that matter for whole of my 4 nights
checkin early if they have room avaiable.
towels clean but old need to change, no shampoo, need to change draps often. breakfast need to have more choice like egg, butter..
